Very quality hotel
Holiday inn express has been one of my favorites at all time. This time is no exception as well. As I was on my way to Grand Canyon National Park, I had a hard time deciding which hotel I want to stay. Some hotels are good, but way too expensive. Some cheaper ones are nice as well, but too far off from the park (55miles, meaning you need to drive an hour back to the park) At the end, I chose holidy inn express again, as it's only 7 miles from the park plus it's the best value within its range. I would certainly stay there again if I go to Grand Canyon National Park.

Filled the bill for us!
My wife and I needed an overnight stay at the Grand Canyon, and this hotel did a wonderful job for us. The location of the hotel was convenient. The room was very well set up. Checkin and checkout times were very convenient. The guest breakfast in the dining room was very nice, with good variety. Also, the staff was very friendly and accomodating. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs an overnight or two or three near the south rim of the Grand Canyon.

There is a very nice family-style restaurant a half-mile away on the other side of the main road, which serves pasta. Its name is We Cook and Serve Pasta. In addition to pasta and pizza dishes, they also have salads, soft drinks and beer.

close to grandcanyon and airport
Great check in. Staff very helpful. The pool is way to small and cold. Room was clean and made up nicely. Did not eat at the hotel.

Great Location!
Great location . . . minutes to the Grand Canyon. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast included. Hotel staff was professional and friendly. Check-in and check-out was quick.

close to the canyon
the hotel was ok , parking was diffcult to find if you was late in getting back to the hotel. room was ok but the mornning breakfast area was to small.

Great place to stay when visiting the Grand Canyon
The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GRAND CANYON, Grand Canyon, Arizona is a great and economical alternative to staying at the high priced lodging in the Grand Canyon National Park. It is very close to the entrance, less than a mile, and is easily accessible to restaurants and other activities. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable.

Great comfort and wonderful breakfast
Our room was super comfortable! I loved the choice of soft pillow or firm pillow or both! I've never been anywhere where I had this before! The complimentary breakfast was awesome with so many choices; perfect for beginning a day of hiking the Grand Canyon! The location, too, was great for the Canyon! The pool looked wonderful though we didn't get the chance to try it out! Next time!
