Very Convenient to Grand Canyon

Location of the hotel couldn't be any better. It is only about a mile from entrance to the Grand Canyon park. While we were there, parking was a little tight, but adequate. Nice clean rooms. Included breakfast was added bonus. Great value.

Very close to the South Rim

The hotel is very close to the south rim of Grand Canyon, only a few minutes drive. Other than that, nothing to write home about, nothing to complain about either. Internet is very slow (almost unusable), but apparently the ISP in the city sucks, so nothing you can do about it.

Nice hotel close to Grand Canyon

What can I say, pretty much everything here is WAY overpriced, including the rooms. You don't get anything special other than being closer to the park entrance. The room was reasonably clean, but not great. The staff was moderately friendly, but not overly helpful. The breakfast area is not set up well and the selection was small compared to other Holiday Inns we have stayed out. There was nothing terrible about the hotel, but there was nothing exceptional about it either.

Dining tip: Not Applicable

If you can pack a cooler full of sandwich stuff and drinks, then do it because the food choices in the immediate area are extremely limited and equally OVER PRICED. Bring a refillable water bottle/canteen to the park. They have water stations you can use to refill all over the place. Trust me, you don't want to buy bottled water here either!

Cuban Grand Canyon Visit

Took a relative visiting from Cuba for to see the canyon. This hotel is conveniently located about 1 miles from the entrance to the South Rim. The price was quite good considering the location. Not much to do in town. Nearby pizza place just OK. Do not fill up on gas at the Texaco; fill up before and after you get there. Had a wonderful time and created a wonderful memory.

3rd of 3 national parks

The breakfast areas was super busy and this was the down time!?! The man at the front desk gave off a bad first impression, had many tattoos on neck and hands. He was a nice man, that just threw us off a little. The room was ok, the door seal kept falling off. The elevator was extremely slow and overall the hotel starting to need some TLC.
