Great location, nice room, weird design

The location is great, just minutes to the Canyon! The room was clean, and recently redecorated, bed & pillows were really comfortable - has a mini fridge which was nice too. The only down side is that you enter the room from the outside, like a roadside motel, and the back of the room opens to a balcony that overlooks a hall which is weird. We could hear a dog barking a couple of rooms over, and the could hear the people walking around upstairs. It's just a weird design - a bit like a roadside motel, but a step up on the inside. Of course you pay for being close to the Canyon, but for the price (about $199/night) you would expect more from most places.

Good location but pretty standard

Had to make a last minute booking for grand canyon. Chose this hotel for the location but arrived disappointed because at 1am, they couldnt find my reservation and my family is already dead tired. Everything else went fine after that. Basic breakfast buffet. Fairly old hotel.

Good location

Location of the hotel, close to Grand Canyon, is the main advantage of this hotel. There was no fridge in the room.

Expensive but a Good location

Rather ordinary room without good places to put your luggage if you want to live out of your suitcase like we do. The only really good thing about it is the proximity to Grand Canyon if the Park lodges are full.

Gross!!!

This hotel was gross! The furniture looked like it was from a thrift shop or garage sale. The beds were horrible. The hot tub was luke warm. The towels were like sandpaper. They didn't give us enough towels even when asked. The restaurants in the area were 2.5 times the going rate, for example a McDonalds sausage bisquit cost $2.79. I heard someone at Wendy's ask for the local price and they cut the price in half. If I go again I will stay in Williams and drive the 50 miles. The town of Williams is awesome. Restaurants there are normal price.

Nice Hotel Overall

The hotel is located in a nice area just outside of the Grand Canyon National Park. It features a lot of cool things such as a spa, a restaurant and a bar (all inside), which is useful when it gets chilly in the grand canyon.

Location is good but smell is bad...

This hotel smells chlorine because there is a whirlpool at the end of the soaring lobby. The ventilation of the bathroom was noisy. As it was automatic, eventually it was turned off, but it was beyond our control. However, the location was good and staff was nice.
