Have had worse and better

The electricity was out in the whole town due to high winds, so not really the fault of the motel. The AC unit kept us up so we didn't have a very peaceful night. Staff was accomodating. Rooms were clean. No breakfast, but Mcdonald's was close by! OK for the low price, but just for one night. Wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer!

Try the Mexican restaurant rather than the Space restaurant.

Ok to get by.

The staff was nice but there was only so much they could do. The room was clean but the building directly across from the train which consistently comes through town atleast ten times throughout the evening. All hotels in town were sold out because of the rail road crew booking them for their workers- which sky rocketed the price. But for the middle of nowhere you don't have much option.

Good price, nice people but poor quality

The price is great and the motel person was very nice but the rooms were poorly sealed. A lot of cracks and crannies that allowed many insects and bugs to inside the room. I noticed that many insects were terminated (probably by professional) but were not cleaned up afterwards. There were cockroaches in the bathrooms at night, if you turn on the lights. We stayed for 5 nights and on 2-3 nights, there were vehicles in the parking lot making lots of noises like people were drag racing or something. Overall, the stay was decent. If the pest control was managed and carpets were upgraded, it would be excellent. Breakfast never had orange juice. They never fixed the orange juice maker. I stayed at this place on two occasions with three weeks in between each stay. The coffee was way too black (like it was left over from several days).

In need of maintenance

The general appearance of the motel indicated that it had seen better days. There was much evidence of wear and tear that needed attention. I've stayed at a Knights Inn before and was very surprised that this motel had been approved to carry the Knights Inn label.

The fare at the only sit-down restaurant nearby was adequate for travelers who need a meal. Prices were moderate, but the food was just average.

needs work

Even for a budget motel left a lot to be desired. Room was dark, dirty and musty. However to be fair it does seem that renovation has begun on some units.
