Excellent stay in Fountain Hills

room was very cozy with southwestern decor, large bathroom, a fridge and microwave. nice patio with view (we were on 2nd floor). staff was friendly. no breakfast or restaurant on premise, but golf clubhouse around the corner is nice and with fridge and microwave, and grocery store right up the hill, really didn't matter. wifi was a bit spotty. nice to be tucked away from busy roads... can take quite walks around neighborhood... be prepared for hills.

Arizona Trip

The pictures where better than when we got there. The Staff was great, nice and helpful. Not much to do at the Hotel if you don't like to golf. Everything is a good drive from the location, but we new that already when we booked the hotel. It was nice and peaceful. Everything closes at 9/10pm and there is no room service after that, if you stay up late and get hunger you have to take a nice drive to a store if if anything else is open. Pool was a bit smaller that the pictures portrayed it to be. Found a dead mouse/rate in the hot tub changed my mind fast about that. Not much food at the location if you have kids and what they have is expensive and not really filling or healthy. Room was sort of clean, bathroom was disgusting and someone left a half smoked cigar on the balcony floor, even though its not allowed to smoke there.

Just what I needed

I stayed at the Inn at Eagle Mountain while searching for a rental home in the Phoenix area. A suite was available at a very affordable price. The inn was comprised of several buildings with a handful of rooms each, nestled into the hillside. The first room had some minor issues, like a slight gap under the door, choppy internet service, and not the greatest view (but not a city rooftop, so ho bad could it be?). I asked at the front desk if I could switch to a room with a better view and was told that several rooms were opening up the following day. The move was stress free, and the view and improved internet access were worth the wait. Both rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed and decorated. I spotted a sign in the lobby to book a deeply discounted massage at a nearby resort and the front desk staff assisted me in making an appointment - the massage and the resort were fabulous. My expectations were exceeded during my stay at the inn. I enjoyed exceptional service, a soothing and sumptuous environment, and a nice dose of pampering. I only wish I had taken more time to hike around the grounds.

Review Of Inn At Eagle Mountain

The second time we stayed there. Its a nice quiet get away from Phoenix. The hotel architecture is adobe and very different/unique from the large chains. That is one thing we really liked about it. Its a nice place to stay if you plan to just go out and see the surrounding area. If you plan to just hang out at the "Inn" then you would be better served by going to an all inclusive chain type place. The hotel staff (front desk) were nice and very much in the background. Cable TV was freezing up, but staff said boxes were going to be replaced. Its a bit of a drive from Phoenix, but you get to see Scottsdale along the way.

Great Launching Pad to travel around to various sites

We had a wonderful stay at The Inn at Eagle Mountain. It offers Beautiful scenic view a very friendly and helpful staff. The internet service is fair as well as TV reception I'm sure because of it's location nestled in the mountains. It proved to be a great launching pad for our trip conveniently located to major routes of travel we were able to make many day trips around the area seeing all the beautiful sites.

WI FI didn't work. Hair dryer didn't work. I was told I would get some compensation but got nothing. Otherwise the staff was excellent and the view was great.

Relaxing but..

This was a weekend staycation for my wife and I. We just wanted a break from home and to relax. Luckily we weren't counting on the full resort experiance. The room was clean and very simple. The decor was kind of cheesy and outdated. We especially liked the fake red chilis hanging from a garage hook in the nook :-/. The wifi didn't work at all and the TV only had 3 local channels working. When I called the front desk the manager had me unplug the Cox box and it didn't help. Not his fault, just couldn't be fixed. I definitely had my fill of Law and Order for awhile though. All in all I would go again, because the location was peaceful and we did get to relax. It's just time for somebody to go through, fix and update things, so this place can live up to its potential.
