A nice relaxing getaway

Things need to be upgraded such as the basketballs, piping, creaking noises, but other than that. I really liked it. The location was nice and the room itself was comfy.

Great Vacation - Resort-Like

Very appealing forest setting with relaxing view from the private porch and with outstanding amenities: starbucks, attractive snack shop/desserts till 10:30 p.m., cozy theatre, pool tables, pool/hottub. Separate cabin-like setting for each room!!!!! Consistently warm welcome by staff. Only exception to outstanding review is that king bed mattress could have been a bit more comfortable and sofa bed mattress needed to be replaced. Kitchen appliances and set up were perfect, also. Highly recommend!!!!

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Macys European coffee house downtown is a treat for breakfast or lunch; caters to the health aware diner. Then for dinner, head to Mountain Oasis - attractive décor and consistently delicious meals! Enjoy! Both are reasonably priced.

Dismal with Good Location

Disappointed that there was no fireplace in our unit. The pullout couch mattress was extremely uncomfortable....woke up with back pain. There was an old set of ear plugs from a former client draped over the lamp shade in the master bedroom. It was disgusting!! Not a very good cleaning job!! Only one jacuzzi that we all had to squeeze into. Would not move us to another unit and we checked in early enough to have a choice of location. Front desk did not even appologize for not cleaning up and removing the earphones....obviously dirty and used!!

Have a GPS navigator....the freeway entrances are extremely confusing. There is a complex nearby by car that has a plethora of restaurant choices not even on the list given by the hotel

Great Family Amenities

The facilities were great for our family. The kids loved the mini golf, pool, ping pong, and movie room. The Grand Canyon and Sedona were both great day trips. Would definitely do this again.

A great time in flagstaff!

We really enjoyed the resort and all its amenities. The room was wonderful, like a home away from home. We will stay here again for sure.

Nice, but be careful what room you book!

Overall, this is a very good option for a family get-away. Fun activities for children, two pools, mini-golf. Be careful what room you book. The "basic" 1-bedroom is like a dungeon, especially with 3 or more people. Small kitchen, cramped family room, very few windows.

Great family place

unit was clean, kid friendly, and located near highways to local attractions and to grocery stores. We basically slept there but did use the pool. Did not have time for the miniature golf. We spent one day at the Grand Canyon - awesome - pictures don't do it justice. Spent another day tubing on the Verde River, and another jeep riding and shopping in Sadona. Something for everyone. We kept breakfast items in the fridge and used the microwave for popcorn. Wounld stay there again without hesitation.

Sightseeing tip: Not Applicable

About 1 1/2 hours to the Grand Canyon. We left early and arrived at the canyon about 8am. There was plenty of parking at that hour and not too many visitors. We spent 5 hours walking the rim and were never crowded or unable to see. Later ran into people who got to the canyon at 2pm and only stayed a short time because of the crowds. Go early and enjoy the splendor!

Memorial Day Weekend Stay

The condo units were very clean and comfortable. We had a restful stay and if you like Mexican food as we do, the Kachina Restaurant was great!! They even sent us home with some of their salsa, which we loved. The food is tasty and lots of it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Being from the Phoenix area, the weather was a pleasant change.
