Skimpy Accommodations

I've stayed here before and am disappointed at the facilities this time. New owner? New Manager? Cost cutting? All amenities were skimpy - towels. soaps, etc. "Continental Breakfast" was a joke. Bread, cereal, juice -nothing else. Did they run out of things or simply cut of food? The price was decent, but with all the competing motels up and down Woodlands, I doubt I would stay at this particular motel again.

BBB complaint filed

My friend and I stayed there, checking in late. I was concerned by the severe lack of maintenance and general appearance but thought we'd give it a try. In a nutshell, here is a small list of problems: no cleaning/renovating for at least decades; fire alarm hanging off wall by its wire; vents so cloged with dust that it rains debris on your head; mold in bathroom; breakfast not as advertised; no paper as advertised; no fitted sheet on our beds, no 24 hr coffee or coffee or cups in room.... Need I say more? I mentioned some things but the clerk couldn't do anything about it. Manager says "there's no record of you calling about complaints therefor we are not abiding by our 100% satisfaction guarantee". I contacted the BBB and the manager is refusing to speak with them as well. Don't waste your time and money. Also, don't risk your health... Their pool area is severaly damaged and they just did a "quick fix" patching it with a mound of concrete.

Worst experience in years.

This was the team hotel for my daughter's soccer match. This hotel was dirty, poorly maintained and WAY overpriced. The mattress had been worn out for years. Towels were small and thin. Some of our traveling companions experienced extreme filth in their rooms. Avoid this hotel if possible.

Disgusting

Horrible and nasty. My son and I made a list of all the things that were wrong with the hotel and our room, had 17 items. Pool was filthy, jacuzzi didn't work, was cold and filthy. Only ice machine didn't work; desk employee didn't care. Room smelled bad, burns in bedspread, broken window, dead plants, breakfast was pathetic, wifi was slower than dial-up. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Not the greatest experience

The staff was nice and check in was easy. However both towel in our room were obviously soiled (one with a brown stain and one with a red stain, yikes!). The drain was clogged in the sink. There was holes in the carpet. The pillows and bed were very uncomfortable. Lastly breakfast was less than desirable. I guess that's what I get for getting a cheap hotel. I'll pay the extra $10 next time.

Bad choice!

This hotel was old and falling apart! Perhaps the best ammenity at this hotel was the adjoining rooms with 2 queen beds in each room. Our door was broken. The pool heater was broken. The sink was broken. The shower was an accident waiting to happen with exposed wires IN the shower. The rooms were very small and very hot, even though we never There were never any towels available. turned the heater on when it was 0 degrees outside. The parking lot was never snow plowed and the continental breakfast was a joke. Spend a little more and go to the Hilton or Fairfield Marriot.
