Needs improvement

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and even called to check in. Bathtub did not drain when showering...was half full of water when finished. Can easily hear occupants next door...especially if they are laughing or talking louder than normal. Volume did not initially work on TV...had to call front desk about this issue...was told to unplug and re-plug back in. Volume worked then, but had to do this a couple times during one night stay.

Great launching point

We stayed here in two rooms, two separate nights while going to and from the Grand Canyon with our son and grandsons. The rooms were clean and nice. They seemed a little dated but certainly not overly so, they had all the amenities. One room had a noisy ac unit. The pool was nice and clean and the hot tub was excellent. The location was great, lots of restaurants were close. Flagstaff was a really neat looking town. Also saw the meteor impact site, a great spot for adults and kids and an interesting contrast to the Grand Canyon. We'd go back.

Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

If you like a more serious gym the YMCA was about an 8 minute drive and let us in for $10.

Awesome

The location is great nice environment and the room I stayed in is okay the only observation I noticed is the toilet tissue holder in the bathroom was missing so they just placed the tissue on the top of the toilet tank. The next morning when I went for breakfast there are no hard boiled egg and bacon they only had powdered scrambled egg and sausage not too happy about it. Otherwise I can live with it. I still recommend the place.

Dirty sheets & Carpets

The carpet was dirty and smelled like feet. There sheets had crumbs and hair on them, which the maid either exchanged or swiped away the hair and crumbs before re-making the bed at 4:30pm. Also, the door to my room would blow open (until it was dead bolted). Finally the breakfast area was too small to serve the amount on guest waiting to eat. However, for the price and location I would recommend this hotel - because the staff really tried to make things better and the over-all stay pleasant.

Nice room & staff..convenient.

Pleasant room. Comfortable bed. Spacious enough for our needs. Fair price. Convenient to downtown Flagstaff. Small cleaning jobs overlooked prior to our arrival. Water faucets are hot! Hair dryer shorted out. No satellite TV guide. Staff did not appear concerned about these reports at checkout.
