Ramada Flagstaff East
Hotel was not spectacular but had clean sheets, good mattress, and hot water. If I can get that out of a hotel, I feel lucky. This hotel provided all of that . . . not much more, but it did provide those three.

Oldie but goodie
I was happy with the hotel as a whole even though there are some signs of age. The beds were very comfortable and the Continental Breakfast was very good. I did NOT like that the rooms are motel style with outside doors.

Fair
Room was fine for the price just under $50.00, I was initially given a smoking room which the front desk changed out for me. As anyone who has ever been to Flagstaff knows, you cant get away from the train noise. It didnt seem to bother me at this location. I stay in Flagstaff once a month and have been trying all the hotels. I rate this one overall as acceptable. No thrills.

enjoyed our stay
easy to find, lots of eating places nearby, room was very comfortable. Heated pool was nice but rather cool running across the parking lot and up and down stairs. What can you expect for late October. The breakfast was "OK" but nothing to get excited about. The staff were very friendly and helpful[...].Don't expect to get a fridge and/or microwave with all units.

We enjoyed the outback Steak House and then visited the Cracker Barrel next door for a bit of shopping. Both had excellent choice of food at a reasonable price

Grand Canyon Hike
The Hotel itself was not too bad. The first day they did not make our room and by the time we got back from our day-trip and asked the lady at the front desk she told me that it is just too bad because the housekeeping staff were already gone for the day and there is no way she is going to call anyone to come in and tend to the room. I told her that I'm OK with the room not being attended to and we will take care of it. I then asked her if she would be so kind as to get us softer/thinner pillows and she went ballistic and said she told me her housekeeping staff are gone for the day and she is not going to look around for any softer pillows, and then she hung up on me. I went to the front desk and confronted her with her attitude and why she hung up on me only to be told that she only put me on hold to answer another call. Two days in a row we did not get the breakfast that was to be served with the excuse that they had a tour group in that day and they ate all the breakfast and the following day they told us the eggs went bad overnight and they could not serve a proper breakfast. When I asked them if they do not plan for tour groups in advance ensuring that they have sufficient breakfast for the other hotel guests as well the guy at the front desk said to me that it is not a big issue because it is only a breakfast. That is not the main issue here. What is the issue here is the disrespectful and unfriendly way we were treated when we "dared" ask for pillows and breakfast.

Scared Traveler
I thought I was in the movie SAW
Front desk gave me a room in a dark hall across from a storage closet. When I opened the door, I put something on a small old white table next to the door and the table fell apart. There was no table next to the bed and there were no desk lamps in the room. No desk in the room. I went to call the front desk to say that I wanted another room and realized that THERE WAS NO PHONE IN THE ROOM! This room looked like it was not meant to be used (especially since the sign at the street read "RECENTLY REMODELED ROOMS." I had to go back to the front desk to ask for another room. No way was I staying in this room (Room 319). The front desk person said that she didn't have any other rooms with a king size bed. I told her that I didn't care and would take a room with double beds. She then put me in a very different room. An obviously remodeled room that was fully furnished and had a phone. I'm not sure how the front desk could not have known the condition of the room. [...] I am happy that they changed my room. I would have left and found another place to stay other than Ramada East if she had not. I will NEVER stay there again! [...] generally Ramada hotels are fine. So, I was very disappointed with this experience. [...] I have told my friends not to stay in this Ramada in Flagstaff.

Decent hotel for the price in Flagstaff
It's hard to find an affordable quality hotel in Flagstaff. We had a really bad experience with a 2.5-star hotel in the area and all of the 3+ star hotels in Flagstaff were above our price range. We only picked this hotel because of the price.
