This Motel 6 is minutes from historic downtown Flagstaff and Northern Arizona University. Grand Canyon National Park is 90 miles away and the area is surrounded by spectacular scenery. WiFi available in all rooms for a nominal fee.

Room review

Went to visit my nephew and his girlfriend and their new baby girl. The room was ok although it was not available until almost 5pm and I was there at 3pm (check in being at 2pm)...was tired from the drive!

Only spent one night

It was a cheap hotel. Two light switches in my room didn't work, but everything was okay. I woke up with a stiff back because the beds aren't very comfortable. Wouldn't stay for more than one night.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

If traveling to see Sedona on a budget, stay in Flagstaff. It's cheaper and the drive on 89 South is a really nice drive. Beautiful mountain scenery.

The hotel was exactly what I asked for - cheap, clean, non-smoking. I just needed a place to crash and lowest price.

cheap is what you get

the sheet and carpet were torn. Do they ever change the bedding? Pretty scary to sleep in these uncomfortable beds. You get what you pay for. [...] that works there is unfriendly and does not like his job.

nice hotel but ok service

It is a O.K. hotel for a short stay. Plus, we were just stopping by and heading toward Grand Canyon.

DON"T STAY AT MOTEL 6 ON BUTLER

I have more room in the back of my pick-up truck bed then the rooms here. Nothing like the pictures, I'll never stay there again. Thanks ORBITZ for the deception!!!!!! Not worth the price!!!!

Small rooms and loud noises

Hotel was comparativley small to others in the area. Probably needs to consider refurbishing at some point. The location is quick to get to from the freeway, but its location next to railroad tracks makes it a poor choice if you are trying to achieve any level of rest. At least the Flagstaff area is nice enough to compensate for a poor hotel.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Beaver Street Brewery is always a good place to dine, also Macy's European Coffeehouse great option for coffee or some veg food.
