disappointed

very thin wall and floor/ceiling, noise came from everywhere. some electric outlet did not work, and the hair dryer in our room was broken, so I asked for a replacement, but the staff said we don't have any. Not even said sorry.

Don't do it!!!

Hotel was a downer, left as soon as possible and returned as late as we could each day. not one piece of equipment worked in the fitness center (only 2 pieces to begin with, a stair stepper and treadmill) Sights in Sedonna were fantastic. Flagstaff was just another city, did not find much to do there.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

Stay in Sedona for the sights or go on to Santa Fe, just amazing. Trip to Flagstaff not really worth the time or money.

Pretty Bad!

This hotel is definitely in need of a renovation and seemed like they are in the process because there were workman around and their gym was ridiculous! All the gym equipment was in a little room off the side of where the free breakfast was and was covered in construction dust. The bike wasn't even facing the TV, no fan, air, etc. Was so excited when I got one of the workmen to get a window open for me. Have to remember this name so I don't go back again!

Awful

I've seen trailer parks with more class. The room was barely bigger than the bed. Some idiot was drunk on the walkway above crying for "Amanda" for 30 minutes. The train is right across the highway, and it sees a lot of trains. Turning on the AC unit instantly filled the room with the stench of urine. Terrible shower-head. Dated gear in the room. One of my greatest regrets in hotels for $93 bucks.

Not Satisfied

Electrical outlets didn't work and some didn't have the receptacle cover. Refrigerator didn't work. Water on bottom and just outside on the floor One room had leftover food in it. The floor badly stained. Mattress poor. Could hardly sleep...roll to middle of the bed. Repair man had to come and fix TV. Met another visitor and he said it was bad in his room too. Won't stay here again........

Not Thrilled

The room was marginal at best. The bath room needed a lot of attention it is like a bathroom from the sixtys, not what most of the nice motels of to day. One thing that the did have that was very nice was the bed.

Not so much

We were driving up from Phoenix on our way to the Grand Canyon and were not going to be in room until late. Figured we would get an inexpensive room but I should have ponied up more money. Room was dirty and smelled funky. The only good thing about this place was the friendly guy that checked us in.

OK for location

The Aspen Inn was in a great location for getting downtown to see the sites. The staf was nice and the lobby looks good with computers available. The pool area was clean and the pool was clean. The breakfast area was clean and the staff member running it was very friendly. In the evening vegetables, dip and popcorn were served along with softdrinks for socializing. The rooms needed refurbishing. They could have been cleaner. The grounds needed cleaning up also. The location was good and friendliness was a plus.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Visitor center was very close. It was the train station and you could watch the trains go by. Restraunts were across from visitor center along with antique stores and shopping.

dreadful place

location is bad, next to trains, difficult to access. Access to rooms very bad, specially with a bad knee. terrible steps. door key didn't work second time, had to walk back to reception(other guests had the same problem). Room had two lights out, staff said was maintenance problem, so room very dark, couldn't see in room. Had been upgraded to Presidential room (with jacuzzi) but jacuzzi didn't work. Place should be knocked down. Past it's use by date.
