Acceptable, Improvements Needed, Gotta love trains

A good deal, especially with the included breakfast buffet which is hard to beat. Rooms were clean and linens also. Outdated otherwise - windows need replaced and not very secure and carpet a bit dingy. But otherwise, we slept just fine and liked that it was clean. We got an executive double room for the price of a studio so that was nice. Know that it is near the train tracks which seemed very busy most of the night. But heater/fan helped block the noise adequately. Good value, but not for room snobs for sure.

If you like trains, this is the place for you.

The staff were friendly and efficient. The continental breakfast provided more than the usual (eggs, meat, and waffle server). The room was fairly clean and everything worked well. Internet speed on lobby computers was extremely slow. All hotels on the HWY 66 strip are subject to train noise. The tracks are just across the street and trains rumble by periodically throughout the night. I suggest turning on the fan and breaking out the earplugs. You are within walking distance to downtown though.

cold and noisy, don't stay here if you like to sleep

At first it seemed like a huge steal but then I actually had to sleep and that's when the problems started. For one the heater is very loud and doesn't let you sleep , and you can turn it on and burn up since its so hot, or leave it off and freeze. I had to turn it on for a half hour then leave it on for 2 several times during the night. Also the gaps under the door are so big I used towels to block them so it didn't get colder. If you are going to stay here bring earplugs ad well because the trains come by often. Last night I slept at 11pm and woke up st 3 and could not go back to sleep. Otherwise everything else is fine

The "2 queens" we made a reservation for turned out to actually be one double and one king, each in a separate room with a connecting interior door. Was nice to have 2 bathrooms. Also the hotel has a happy hour with two free drinks per patron (wine or beer) which was nice. Would stay here again.

Good deal for the price

Staff was good. Breakfast was good. Place looks shabby but room was clean. Happy hour was a bonus even though only chips and salsa were offered for the "snacks.". Nothing special but for the price I would stay here again.

Okay in a pinch...

Staff at the hotel were great! Front desk people were very friendly and helpful. The happy hour bartender PJ's was lots of fun. The hotel badly needs some updating, rooms were clean but very dated and worn looking - the counc hin our room had no padding left so it was like sitting on a brick to watch tv. Bed was comfy but needed another blaket for the chilly nights.

Stayed here for one night with our young children. They loved the separate bedroom and bath. Great value and comfortable beds! The breakfast was good with a friendly staff. Highly recommend to families.
