Flagstaff AZ

The hotel looked a little dated but the room was great. Traveling with grandchildren and cleanliness was very important, Very clean. Had a problem with the TV and the attendant was there in less then 5 minutes.

Birthday Trip

My husband and I drove to the Grand Canyon for my 40th birthday. Quick three night trip. We chose to stay in Flagstaff because there are more things to do than in Williams once the day trip to the Grand Canyon is done. Glad we did! This hotel was very clean and the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be how hard it was to get out of the parking lot on a busy week day morning. It is located on the corner of a very busy intersection. Very close to the Lowell Observatory (highly recommended) and close access to the freeway but far enough way to not hear the traffic at night. We would definitely choose this hotel again on our next trip through Flagstaff. Walking distance to the Flagstaff visitor's center and historic downtown. Also walking distance to a few great restaurants.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

The Lowell Observatory is just a little over a mile up the hill from this hotel. It is well worth the stop. The Museum of Northern Arizona is a little over 3 miles way. Beautiful, well designed museum.

Pleasantly Suprised

I travel quite a bit for business and this was a surprisingly clean and decent hotel. It was very clean, fairly quiet, close to nearby restaurants and the freeway. I would stay here again for a night or two if I was passing through.

No Frills Budget Motel

No pool, fitness center, breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Room was of adequate size for two guys on a golf trip. Clean. Wi-fi was very fast. Located close to great restaurants for breakfast and dinner.

Nice place to stay

Most of the Flagstaff hotels with similar services and in the same neighbourhood were selling for way over $100 for a weekend we were in Flagstaff. The room was clean, and spacious. The hotel located in a walking distance to "downtown" area.

Fine stay

Highland Inn provided a good night's stay, and met all of our expectations. Easy to get to from the interstate (but not adjacent to). The trains were close (as they were to all hotels in the area), but we didn't notice them at all in the night.
