Stop over on the way home

I enjoyed the property. However, it was difficult to regulate the heat. Either boiling hot or very cold. The room was very clean. I seemed to have paid top dollar for this hotel. Probably because they were close to capacity.

Cannot expect more.

I stayed here with my cousin during the trip exploring the west, and everything was good. Room was clean, and staff was kind. Location is a little bit away from the old downtown where many good restaurants are located, but it is just 10 min distance by a car from the hotel. If you want to stay in Flagstaff, it would be difficult to find a better one within the budget. Strongly recommend.

Sightseeing tip: In Hotel

Go to the Lowell Observatory at night, if you have time. I think it is pretty good place to stay away from city noise even during the day since it is quite and air is very refreshing, but it is also a good place to see some stars at night, especially if you are not planning to visit Grand Canyon.

If you have children this place rocks.

We met up with family from Texas here for a makeshift thanksgiving. We had a great time! We had the double queen suite and we slept 6 people comfortably. There were many restaurants within walking distance which is nice after a long drive and not wanting to get kids back in the car. The Kitchen has almost everything you need but THERE IS NO OVEN so just beware of that, The business center is simple but has everything you need if your working on vacation or need to print tickets last minute or something. The breakfast in the morning was simple but there were eggs and the cool little waffle maker thing and the normal cereal bagels and yogurt.... We went to the Hopi indian ruins which was 10 minutes away and really cool for my kids and I enjoyed getting them outside in such a beautiful setting!!!

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

There is a Safeway/Vons down the street we saved a bunch my eating lunch in the suite kitchen and it was less annoying then trying to drag little ones out between nap times : )

Good stay in Flagstaff

Great staff, very clean room. The breakfast could be better. Boiled eggs aren't best quality and aren't there every morning. Fruit salad could be more fresh. There is just not much of anything if you don't want waffles and candy like cereals. Would also prefer to eat it with real silver and not plastic spoon in styrofoam bowl but that's me.

One Night in Town

We came up from Phoenix for a night for a wedding. We checked in smoothly, and had no problems during our stay. I did feel that the price was way too high, but it was memorial Day weekend, so every hotel was overpriced that weekend.

Comfortable, welcoming stay in Flagstaff

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites. The staff was friendly and helpful, rooms clean and comfortable. Only issues were the out of order treadmill in the gym and the fire alarm going off a couple of times briefly in middle of the night. We would stay at this property again.

Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

Property is quick 5 minute drive to the Flagstaff airport, 2 minute quick drive to the NAU campus.
