For this level of accommodations, I would recommend this property. It is well taken care of and in a convienient location. Very nice lobby area and friendly staff. We were here to check out NAU and only stayed one night but would stay again.
Clean room, quite. The employees were nice and polite, but not great at giving directions. Room is not VERY well insulated, and the breakfast is nothing special. But there is a business center where you can use the computer and printer for free.
Big room, big TV. Good room for the price and very convenient if spending time at NAU.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Great chinese food restaurant delivers right to your door! The menu was in the room. But use your cell phone to call, they charged us $1.55 insisting that the call we made was long distance.
The bathroom was newly remodeled and very clean. The rest of the room was average for cleanliness. The bed was too soft and you tended to roll towards the middle if two people slept in it. The pillows were horrible. Lumpy and obviously had
been washed at some point because the 'fluff' was in balls inside. Bring your own. They had a decent breakfast with homemade waffles, doughnuts, etc. for free, which was very good. All in all, we got a good rate and because of the cleanliness of the bathrooms, we would stay here again with our own pillows.
After a long day at the Grand Canyon, my family was thrilled to see the great pool, slip into the large room with nice shower and order from the guide of many restaurants that delivered in the area. However, our experience soured that night when
the trains began to rumble past and the soft bed made it tough to sleep.
