Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

Short drive to Legends District in Downtown Phoenix. Take exit #147 to the Sports Facilities instead of following I-10 all the way downtown...cuts out traffic delays.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

The casino is located in an attached building and is first class if you are into that sort of thing. They have a theater and with well known entertainers appearing. We had dinner at the steak house located at the hotel and it was great.

Spring Training in Arizona

Wild Horse Pass Resort a great place to stay while in Arizona for Rockies spring training. Our room was great, swimming pool nice and large and the exercise room had everything in it to exercise off all the hot dogs and beers you had at the ball park.

Great overall experience for the $.

The only thing I would have liked to see in addition to the other amenities from such an upscale type of hotel/spa is a shuttle to and from the airport. That would have made my decision to return a shoe-in.
