Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Chandler/Phoenix Area

Everything was great, room was clean but just had an off odour not sure if it was mildew or smoking but it had nothing to do with staff cleaning. but i would stay again.

Great suite. Clean and large with a delicious breakfast.

This room was comfortable but quite dated. It was nice to have a kitchenette in the room with separate bedroom too. The furniture is old - the bed is rock hard but surprisingly not too uncomfortable. The staff was pleasant and friendly. I'd stay here again.

We booked a two bedroom suite and it was very spacious. It came with two bedrooms with a TV in each room, plus one in the small living room, which also had a small sofa bed. The kitchen came with everything you needed to make a meal. Hot breakfast was pretty good. All in all, a good value. Nothing fancy, but definitely had the space and amenities we needed. Even the pool was heated during the winter. One downside though...if you're on the second floor, get ready to lug your bags up a flight of stairs. We had a 40 lb fencing bag to carry up and that was no fun. If this is a problem, request a ground floor room.

Our only complaint, and a minor one at that, is there is no DVD player in the suite. That little issue aside, we were totally pleased with this hotel. The so-called continental breakfast is more like a full-menu breakfast served cafeteria style. It was great! Would have cost at least $20 for the two of us at a nearby restaurant, but this meal is included in the price of our room; truly a bargain. The suite was huge, and very well-furnished. The kitchen lacked for nothing. The housekeeping staff was terrific, as were the members of the desk crews. Especially noteworthy was the professionalism, attitude, and friendliness of Art. Art was the first desk representative of the hotel when we checked in, and he really set the tone for the rest of our stay; can't say enough positive things about him. All in all, this is one of the few places we've stayed that we would say, "We will stay here again, without checking any other options, when we are visiting the area again."

I stayed with Hawthorn Suites a couple of times this year and will probably stay more. It's a great place for a great price. The pool was a bit too warm for my taste, but very relaxing early in the morning. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

Great room, comfy bed, kitchen, spacious bathroom, living area. Good pool. Hot breakfast. The only downside is the fact that they take $100 on your credit card in advance for damages rather than just holding the number, and it takes your bank a few days to return this after checkout. A stupid thing to have to keep track of.

Got a two bedroom suite after one hour delay as "the rooms' cleanup is running late as we are understaffed". Suites were in delapitated condition with suites and corridors smelling foul and kitchen appliances and utensils dirty, old and broken. We found a roach on our kid's toothbrush the first night and that was just about all we could take. For the same money we could stay at a Holiday Inn [...]

Great location. Nice pool. Good breakfasts, which are complimentary. Nice to have kitchenette to save on meals. Customer service was excellent. Only recommendation would be to have a more comfortable bed! Overall very satisfied with out stay!!
