Clean, comfortable, no complaints
I stayed at the La Quinta on the Arkansas side of the street in Texarkana. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, I have no complaints. There was a guest laundry just a couple of doors down from my room so i was happy about that feature. I was actually headed out to find a laundromat when I noticed this guest laundry witha washer and a dryer. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone traveling through the area.

Okay for a night on the road
This is an acceptable place for a night on the way somewhere. Comfortable enough for a night's sleep. Close (walking distance) to acceptable Mex food. We had a room facing away from the Interstate, making the room pretty quiet. I doubt that another side of the place would be as good. It's clean, pretty well-run, and okay for the price.

Timothy's--a great place--but call ahead because sometimes (like this time) they were closed for a private party. After Timothy's, everything else in town is pretty tame.

Definetly not a three star experience. We were two people in the room with a King bed, ONLY one towel!! I had to go to the front desk to get extra towels. Air conditioner was not working properly, sweated the whole night. The security latch was broken.There was a coffee maker but no coffee pot!! GO FIGURE! Morning staff at checkout said "Oh I will make a note" as to AC problem, broken latch, and one towel!

Did the job
Generally did the job for a one night stay. Carpets were pretty worn, but ok location and an interesting bbq place nearby with good food.

The Beds in Rooms
This trip was for my wife's birthday. We went out to the Olive Garden and to the mall. We enjoyed the room except for the beds. We had a king size bed which was very roomy but very hard. This particular hotel needs new beds.

Nice Stay
It was a good stay at this La Quinta. The room was nice and clean, and quiet, even though it was right off the highway. Breakfast was better than average and the staff was friendly. The only bad note is the fact of the large amount of road construction surrounding the area.

OKAY
The room was kind of small, but quiet. The breakfast was not all that great because there was no meat to be served. They had cold cereal, waffles, toast, boiled eggs and drinks, but no meat.

La Quinta Texarkana ARKANSAS
ATTENTION: there are 2 Texarkana La Quintas!!! One is on the Texas side and this one is on the Arkansas side. My review applies to the La Quinta, Texarkana in Arkansas. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the room was pleasantly decorated. The shower was nice and powerful. It was pretty quiet overall. A complimentary breakfast was provided in the lobby and it was pretty good. They had make-your-own waffles, cereal, juice, muffins, coffee, etc.Checking in was a snap, thanks to [...] I imagine. I gave them my name and they literally gave me the keys to the room. Nothing to sign because it was already taken care of by [...]
