A good place to stay

We spent a week at the hotel. It is a no frills room, but it is clean and the bed is great, but a double bed so keep that in mind if you plan to share;). You also have to make your own bed as they don't have daily cleaning service. ( But you are on vacation, so I won't tell if you don't make your bed LOL) There is a mini kitxhen so you can cook but you have to bring your own kitchen stuff.Or buys theirs. But you can have cereal and tv diners with a little thought & effort. . Even the shhower was good, I highly recomened this place. It has a min stay of 7 days but at $25.00 a night it is well worht the money. Thanks & God B

Pretty decent, comfortable extdnded stay

I didnt really have any problems with the place except that its a little on the costly side, and everything costs a little extra such as dishes, soap, internet, etc. Housekeeping is only once every 2 wks, you have to pay a little extra for every week. The place is REALLY safe, hanging out outside or in the hallways is not allowed and there are cameras everywhere and security. Neighboorhood isnt too bad either. Personnel always treated me with respect but maybe so because of my money ;) Obly thing is that the office hrs are limited as someone mentioned. And I heard they raised the monthly rate by $50 sonce I moved out. So overall I would give it a 4.5 but thats not possible thus a 4.

Value Place, Springdale, Arkansas

The office only operates from 9-6 Monday through Friday and from 10-2 on Saturday. We had a room card that didn't work and was not able to get it fixed as we were busy having fun during their office hours. The room was fine for what we needed, which was a place to shower and sleep. We didn't get much sleep as the bed was harder than hard. The room had a refrigerator, stove, and microwave, so we were set if we wanted to cook our own meals. One problem, we would have had to purchase plates and flatware to eat with. We also would have had to purchase cookware. It certainly was cheaper to eat out. Fridge was nice for the beer, but who wants to have a beer in a hotel room when you are attending a Bike Rally? This is an "extended stay" venue that charges $149.00 a week. Kind of a slap to be charged $57.00 a night for three nights. It would have been better (and cheaper) to reserve the room for a week. No housekeeping, but that was fine for us as we only slept and showered in the room. Cell phone signal strength was marginal in the Springdale area, so I would recommend paying $10 for a week of internet. Remember to bring your Cat-5 cable or you will shell out another $7 to rent one. The room was satisfactory for the individual or couple who don't mind a rock-hard bed. $57.00 a night is cheap, but you give up the amenities you are used to for that price.

Nightlife tip: Short drive from hotel

Dickson Street in Fayetteville, Arkansas, rivals any college town entertainment district. Bikes, Blues, and Bar-B-Que is the third largest Bike Run in America and well worth the drive.

Disappointing stay

Value Place Springdale was a huge disappointment. Nothing prepared me for the fact that this was a resident long term place. The office was not open past 6 P.M. which caused lots of problems as my business in Arkansas did not allow me to get to the hotel until after 6. The rooms were clean & did not smell of smoke. However, I was not told that no cleaning would be done during our stay so the smoke did accumulate during the stay. This caused some problems as I am sensitive to smoke. In addition, there were NO ammenities...no dining room, no breakfast, no soaps, etc.,no coffee pot in the room, no towels available unless we went to the office to pick them up (which was difficult since the office closed after we got back & the one time we were able to get towels, they only gave us two when they knew there were 3 adults staying there). The location was not the best. There was nothing very close to the hotel..we had to drive everywhere.
