Went to have a girl's night with friend then to pick up boss from airport next day. I chose the most expensive hotel because ... I wanted to show my friend the best time. The meal was great at downstairs restaurant. We paid $1.50 for warm cans of soda and $2.95 for miniature coke bottles with room service. I have been in much nicer places for much less of a cost. Also, they had no record of my reservation when I arrived.

Great people, but . . .
MtNomad Sep 13, 2009
The staff was among the most helpful and friendly I've experienced, and the hotel was attractive and clean. The central ... courtyard, though, transmitted a lot of noise during festivities in the lobby area, the parking is all valet and tends to get slammed at inopportune times, and a personal pet peeve that seems to be endemic, a tub that doesn't drain well.

Fantastic hotel for a convention
Church Lady Jul 30, 2009
I attended a church convention the Peabody hotel is conveniently connected to the convention center. Everyday at 5PM.the ... Peabody ducks come out of the pond and entertain the crowd while marching into the elevator to go home for the night. This hotel was great! This hotel isn't for families because if you need anything extra like a microwave oven or cot or coffee pot you have to pay extra money for these items.

Cute Young Couple Jul 27, 2009
We checked in pretty late, and the only trouble we had was that the hotel initially said they didn't have our reservation and ... were completely full. After they checked again, they found the reservation and we ended up with a beautiful room with a view of the river. The restaurant had amazing steak and fantastic flatbread. The decor was swanky, and the service was pretty good.

Clean & Polished
XS10CHLST Jun 29, 2009
Very nice hotel and staff. Initially assigned us to the wrong room - a hospitality room with no bed - but had no problems ... after that. It cost 13.96 for my daughter to watch a Disney movie, and room service automatically tacked on nearly 30% to the bill for various service charges. I paid for our stay in advance (through Orbitz), but they still required a credit card for incidentals, and they immediately put a $150 credit hold against the card; this wasn't a problem, but it also was not expected, so in that sense, it could be a problem for some. The steakhouse in the hotel lobby was excellent, and the manager there really went above and beyond working to make sure everyone had a good experience. It is a very nice place, and seemed from appearances like it was more fine dining then family dining, but they have kid's menus and a great lunch pasta bar and the staff was great. My eight year old daughter and I ate there four times in three days and it was always good. And the prices were not unreasonable. The hotel fitness center was excellent. The rooms - and the whole hotel - were very we'll air conditioned; it was between 98-100 degrees during our stay, and we were never uncomfortable as long as we didn't leave the hotel. And of course, my daughter loved the duck march, where ducks march out the elevator everyday at 11am and march on red carpet to the hotel fountain where they spend six hours, and then they march back at 5pm. The hotel offers shuttle service to and from the airport ( saving a $20 cab fare), and the service proved easy to schedule and worked well for us.

Memorial Day Weekend in Little Rock
BR May 26, 2009
I previously lived in the Little Rock area and new of the top-quality reputation of the Peabody Hotel, so when I planned a ... weekend trip to the city, it was my first choice. Most of my expectations were met or exceeded. The property is very nice, the staff is friendly and accommodating, the traditional ducks in the lobby were a nice treat. Our room was very clean with plenty of towels, a good view of the river and the Old State House museum that is next door. The only complaint that I have is the lack of parking. Valet is the only parking option, and apparently if fills up quickly because it was full at the time of our afternoon arrival. We had to park in a pay to park lot three blocks away and roll our luggage down the street in the rain. I didn't enjoy this. If not for the parking issue, I would rate our stay as perfect.

good location...
Heather Apr 12, 2008
The best thing about the hotel is the location as it is in the heart of the city. The beds are also quite comfortable, ... however, I changed rooms once as there was an unpleasant oder that smelled as if someone was trying to cover up smoking in the room. All rooms are non-smoking in this hotel. The next room didn't smell quite as bad, but you could hear the elevator all night long even though I was located reasonably far away. The elevator beeps are quite annoying. The food across the street is unquestionably much better. This seems like a hotel better suited for conventions than anything else.

Cynthia Dec 17, 2007
Compared to my expectations, the Peabody in Little Rock was the worst hotel I've stayed. The hot water was not working, the ... drain backed up, the stopper was lying broken on the tub floor, the wireless internet connection was extremely sketchy and unreliable, the lobby was dirty, and a one-minute long-distance phone call (my cell was broken) cost $13.40. The only way I'd stay there again was if the only alternative was to sleep in my car.

Like its two sister hotels-- (Orlando & Memphis) where I have stayed as well-- the LR Peabody instills in its guests the ... confident elegance associated with truly top flite hoteliers. When you want to feel pampered and indulged, you should seek out the LR Peabody. Its flawless amenities are augmented by the best location on Clinton Ave.Its lobby comfort, bar, and restaurant are a welcome haven after touristing in the area.

Great location!
Sheila Jul 27, 2007
I found the hotel management to be very accomodating and willing to make guest requests happen. The room was exceptionally ... nice and a request for a room with a view was met without question. I was a little disappointed with the lack of a pool or spa facilities but the exercise room was excellent. The computer access was more than satisfactory. The location of the hotel was excellent -- convient to downtown restaurants and entertainment. This was important because I was on vacation and not a business trip this time. The bathroom was nice, the room was clean and decorated very nicely. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

The Flying saucer was a delightful place to eat and be entertained by live music. Had planned to just have a meal, but the entertainment was so good that I stayed a couple of hours. There were several other entertainment establishments nearby also. Art Galleries, speciality shops, and a food mall were also within walking distance.
