Pretty good, but some major irritations...

This is a very good hotel and provided a pleasant stay. However, there were a few major irritations that marred the experience. The front staff was very light and caused us delays in getting help. The concierge function was not very knowledgeable about restaurants. The "high speed" internet access is an additonal charge and is half the speed of 3G. The cost of music in the room is outrageous, $15 for 2 hours, more expensive than movies, I think. Room service is available, but not for breakfast, and it is not speedy. An appetizer took over 30 minutes to be delivered.

Embassy Suites in Hot Springs

We have made several trips to Hot Springs since our daughter and granddaughter moved to Arlington, TX. It is a good place to meet halfway. We always stay at the Embassy and we have always been delighted with every aspect. It is refreshing to find a company that values its employees. I say this because every person who works there, from the desk clerk to the manager to the cook who made my omelet, is very friendly and polite. You are missing a treat if you stay anywhere else!

July 10-11th Embassy stay

My stay at Embassy suites started off a tad rocky as I was first given a smoking room ( I do not smoke) but this was quickly corrected when I returned to the reception area. I was given another room but when I opened the door to this room it had not been cleaned from the previous guests. At this point I called from the room and a very apologetic clerk came with another room key....personally checked the new room and after several apologies presented me with a complimentary voucher for the hotel restaurant. From that point on the treatment was what I had come to expect....first rate. the staff was extremely friendly and always greeted me with a hello, good morning or may I help you. I would especially like to single out the staff serving the morning breakfast. I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and have never been disappointed.

Hot Springs Weekend

We made a quick weekend trip to Hot Springs combining work and pleasure. I chose the Embassy Suites because of its convenient location to downtown Hot Springs and the restaurants, shops, art galleries and the famous bath houses. The hotel was clean and the rooms spacious. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was quite. The hot breakfast was great. We enjoyed the hot tub and my wife was happy with the fitness facility. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Hot Springs.

The Best Location for Conv Center

Wife & I in our 60's and were there for basketball tournament. We parked our car at the side door for convenience except for the 5 days we were there we NEVER moved our car !! The free breakfast was absolutely the very best anywhere, we had custom omlets with anything on the side !! The evenings you get most any drink you want for a $1 for 2 hours. We were on the 2nd floor exec suite with conference table and made it into a hospitality room for our friends attending the games next door. On the 3rd floor you cross over to the convention center for all the activities. WOW CONVENIENT !!! The folks working there are true Arkansas-friendlies! --R&B--

Our stay was outstanding!!! Five Stars

This was the best weekend vacation we've ever taken. We gave a surprise 40th birthday party for our daughter and family who came there from Tyler, Tx. We visited the spa's, went horse back riding and of course ate at some excellent restaurants. The Embassy free buffet was the best of any hotels I've ever ate at. The staff were all helpful and very friendly. You are doing a lot of things right there at the Embassy in Hot Springs. Thank you for a great weekend.
