Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Hot Springs

We were in town for the Arkansas Derby. Positives: Great Location, cheap price. Negatives: First, these were non-smoking rooms and they reeked of smoke; one of the 2 rooms even had ashes in the bathroom when we first got there. The tv, phone, and alarm clock did not work and they would not fix/replace them. The parking lot smelled like an open septic tank. Overall: If all you want a cheap room in a good local, then this is the place to be. If you care at all about anything other than a bed to sleep in, then look elsewhere.

This was absolutely the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. The carpet was stained horribly. We requested a non-smoking room, the whole room smelled like an ash tray. The bathroom was not clean it had pubic hair everywhere. The bed was nasty and stained. The sheets were dirty. The room looked like a poor attempt of remodeling was going on. Unfinished paint with no baseboards. The door entance door had a 1/2" gap off the floor allowing the cold air in all night. The Heater was noisy and was unable to have the thermostat set due to the broken knob layin on top of it. The towels had blood stains. The bathroom light did not work, had to replace the light bulb myself. The rack to hang clothes on was falling off the wall. We had reserved the room on-line. It looked nothing like the picture on the website. We couldn't bear to stay another night. The bed was unbearable. It was more like a trampoline with broken springs poking in our backs. We checked out early the next morning and wanted our money back for the next evening. This was refused. We considered it money well spent to get away from the disgusting place. This was truley the Hell of Motels.

I only stayed one night and the room did offer the only true necessity ... A bed. The walls did have wholes, the heater didn't work properly, and you don't Actually get wifi in the room, you only get it in the extremely tiny lobby. The hotel is located right on the hwy very close to many resturaunts and a mall. So all in all not a bad deal for the price. Just remember you are paying for 2 star quality.

THIS HOTEL WAS A NIGHTMARE ON CENTER STREET. THE AD MADE IT LOOK LIKE IT WAS FABULOUS BUT WHEN WE WERE IN THE ROOM IT REEKED OF CIGARETTES AND URINE. THEY EVEN CHANGED THE MATTRESSES WHILE WE WERE AWAY FROM OUR ROOM, WITH USED MATTRESSES AT THAT. WE LIKE THE LOCATION, BUT WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Did not get there until 2:30 in the morning and had to check out at 11:00, dont feel i should have been charged the full rate. Desk clerk didn't ask for my id or anything. My key didnt work and it took the desk clerk forever to get me another room. My feet were black after walking on the floor. In the shower it looked like the ceiling was going to fall in.

This hotel was okay. We chose it because it was pet-friendly but there was no pet area/grass to allow the dog to do her business. The room was clean (even though it was painted a very dark and depressing mustard yellow) and for the price there really are no complaints. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was okay with several restaurants very close but about 10-15 minute drive from downtown Hot Springs. All-in-all the hotel was okay/good. Would recommend to a friend as long as they realize this is a 2 star hotel and not to have tehir expectations too high.

Advertised pool. Pool was closed. Advertised HBO. No HBO. Refrigerator in room was broken.

The room was located in a convenient location. I didn't like the fact that it was hard to open and close my door to my room. It appears that the door was maybe kicked in once before. My bathroom also ran out of toilet tissue and it took them an entire day to bring another roll of tissue. :( Also, my toiled leaked every time you flush it but other than that, the staff was friendly and rooms were clean.

It was nice, good location, safe. Close to shopping and food. Would stay again.
