Cajun's Warf just down the street. It cost a little more than a Mexican restaurant that we ate at also but was much much better. The Classics was not bad either.

Good for recreation.

Nice location, by the lake and for a few dollars you can reserve a room with lake view. The food at the restaurant was good. The waiting time was kind of long but the food seemed to be fresh cooked and tasty.

Not Going Back

Worst hotel stay in years. When we arrived, I could not get on the internet, so I called the front desk. They were not able to tell me what the problem was, so they referred me to an 800 number. I called them and it took them almost 20 minutes to figure out how to get me on the internet. I have never had a problem like this anywhere. The room decor was very depressing -- the walls were three different colors, all a different shade of orange, and the furniture was orange wood. The microwave and fridge were in a cabinet where you had to stoop over to access them. There was a one-fourth inch opening where you could see daylight between the window air conditioning unit and the window. They must have forgotten to seal it when it was installed. The opening was big enough for spiders, bugs and even a small mouse to enter. There was a large cobweb dangling in the wind on the ceiling over the a/c unit and two more on the ceiling over one of the beds. The floors were filthy with ground in food and stains. There were two nasty stains on one of the chairs. There was no desk for my computer, so I had to use the small dining table to eat and compute. The towels were stored on a shelf inside the shower stall so that when you take a shower the towels get wet. What an idea!!! The sink in the bathroom was cracked in two places. The trash cans were so small (about two gallon size) that we had to leave some of our trash on the floor. The iron leaked water onto our clothes when we ironed. The refrigerator was not cold enough and there was no knob to adjust the temperature. Someone had removed it. The balcony was nice, but only had a partial view of the lake. To see the rest of the lake you had to go outside. The air conditioner was somewhat loud, which caused us to have to turn the TV volume up. There was no where to sit (couch or love seat) to watch TV except the two dining chairs. THE PRICE WAS ABSOLUTELY TOO HIGH FOR WHAT WE HAD TO PUT UP WITH. I would not recommend this place to anyone with a pulse!

Great Location

I LOVE the hotels location. It's right on the lake and near some good restaurants. We stayed Memorial Weekend on the second floor and it was noisy nearly all night. People were playing basketball outside of our window late. Finally, I called the front desk around midnight and they had the group stop. The beds are super comfy. Some of the lights wouldn't work in the room and the shower pressure isn't the best.

Nice, but not worth the price

I've stayed in Hot Springs several times. We usually go for the average $70-75 hotel but we decided to go a little higher this time in hopes of an above-average experience. We were greeted by a really unfriendly desk clerk who basically mumbled to himself and then handed us a key. No information about internet/wifi/breakfast...nothing...we had to ask him where our room was located. The room was average at best. The hotel had a restaurant on the ground floor, but it was nothing to write home about. Next time we'll go right back to the average $70-75 hotel and save the money.

Successful Stay

My out of town guests found the facilities, staff and room all in good order. The free WiFi was especially appreciated. Will book again, if the need arises.

Horrible hotel!!

When I got there I got made fun of by some drunk guys in the lobby and the staff just let it continue to happen. I am an 18 year old girl and these guys were like 30. it took an hour just to get in the room. When I got to the room the bathroom had hair and urine all over the floor and there were blood stains all over the bed, fresh blood stains. The carpet made my feet black when I walked around bare foot. The mini fridge was broken. The over all experience was just terrible. I will never stay here again, I suggest that others don't as well.

Great Location

My family very much enjoyed this resort and we will be returning very soon. I advise you to visit during the summer though, because the lake where you rent boats and the pool was closed. But the stay way still great and there was plenty things to do all very close. All staff was helpful and friendly. The resort was clean and neat. Plus the Thursday live music was great and free.
