Unwind at Hot Springs lakefront resort
Clarion Resort on the Lake in Hot Springs is perched on the shores of beautiful Lake Hamilton. Guests enjoy the lakeside outdoor pool, a volleyball court, a picnic area and a playground. There is also a boat ramp/docks with seasonal boat rentals. Additional hotel amenities include complimentary high-speed Internet access, a business center and an on-site restaurant and sports bar. book cheaper directly thru hotel
When we arrived at hotel, the desk clerk was on phone giving out price that was $5.00/night cheaper than what we had booked [...] Great start, right? It is an old hotel, but they had updated rooms (though the furniture was cheap and ugly). No smells, no dirt, no holes. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The air conditioner was cold. All rooms appear to have a view of lake--though some include view of bridge and others don't.

Right across street is a breakfast diner and an ice cream shop. Behind them on hill is an italian restaurant.

NIce for the price
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Loud due to group of teenagers that the mgmt let run.

Clarion Resort On the Lake
Good resort, clean, good location, rooms were good condition and clean. The resort is showing wear on the outside of building, and elevators. Although this may not affect accomodations it does affect those who drive by when compared to newer resorts. It's curb appeal issue.

Lakeside Getaway
The hotel is in a great location. The view of the lake is exceptional. The pool was wonderful and big enough that children and adults could enjoy it. The TV in the room was very small and positioned on one side of the room. It was hard to see from the other bed. The room was clean. I would recommend this hotel to others. The beds were comfortable and having a fridge was very convenient.

Weekend Warrior
Friendly, but average
The staff was friendly and seemed happy to have you stay at their hotel. They have a sports bar and grill in which I had dinner and drinks one night, but just like the hotel itself, I would classify both as average at best. My room was a non-smoking room, but had a strong scent of smoke. Makes me believe that the room was just changed over to accomodate that weekends needs for the hotel. The city has a cool vibe to it, but you can probably find a better place to stay closer to downtown.

Oaklawn Park is worth visiting on big horse racing weekends. The town really embraces its visitors and makes you feel welcome. Ton of restaurants to choose from.

only place to stay, pretty good
good home base to stay in if you're wanting to check out the nearby mountains. good place for motorcyclists to stay. no ramp if bringing bike in a truck.

Great Location
The location was great, the room was clean, and the staff was professional. The in-room coffee was really bad, but that might be nitpicking.
