Baymont Inn And Suites Hot Springs

Overall, the Baymont on the lake was fantastic. It is a new hotel about 5 miles from the Oaklawn race track. The room was very clean, very quiet and very comfortable. The only complaint we had was of the pillows, but that is a completely personal preference. We had to leave early the next morning and were so happy to eat the free breakfast at 6:30am.

Just stopped in to rest on a road trip. My only complaint would be that the top floor I was on smelled like cigarette smoke, and we were in a non smoking room. The room didnt smell but the hallway did.

We reserved a non smoking suite that definitely had been smoked in. We had to keep the window open all day, leave and come back to a freezing room and it still smelt of cigarette smoke. Disappointing, but overall the room was nice and the hotel was in a good location.

Although we stayed at Lake Hamilton, we attended a wedding in Hot Springs at the Convention Center which was about 10 miles away. The desk employee was very uncooperative, both at check-in and also when asking for instructions. I give him a D. Luckily the employee at a local convenience store gave wonderful directions. The hotel itself was clean and nice. It was very reasonably priced and included a free breakfast in the morning. Parking was adequate and the setting of the hotel was great, on the water. The rooms were quiet and peaceful. The only complaint was a minor one, the kleenex box was empty, trivial. A very nice experience and I would recommend it in the future. Hopefully the check-in employee will be gone by then!

Our hotel experience at the Baymont Inn was terrible. When we walked into the lobby, the strong smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming. Our first room was filthy; we were reassigned a room on the fourth floor. While I will say that the room had a beautiful view, the stained carpet, musty smell, and the cigarette smoke from other rooms filled our room. When we complained the next day, the response was a "Sorry" with no attempt at bringing resolution.

Great view, an absolute beautiful view of the lake. Away from traffic, quite peaceful place.

Peaceful, quiet overlooking Lake Hamiiton yet only minutes away from everything else!!

We stayed here on our way to Nashville so it was only for one night but the check in was VERY easy, every staff member was very friendly and helpful. The view from our room of Lake Hamilton was beautiful. I recommend the balcony/lake view room. The room was very quite and clean. This hotel is very close to town for dining and shopping.

The hotel was nice and clean. We love the view of the lake. The only thing that could have been better was not waiting so long on the elevator.

The hotel stay was wonderful until the last day of our trip. The internet was down earlier in the morning and I called the fron desk for help. I was told they were fixing it. By the evening, the internet was still down and the front desk even did not know it. I was told about three minutes later that the internet was up. I tried and it did not work. I called later in the evening and was told that the service provider could not fix it. Hurray! I know that it is not the staff's problem but the hotel should have chosen a better provider.
