Was told at check-in that had we called and booked through the hotel and not online we could save extra by booking through the hotel. Since we booked online we were charged extra to have the same amenities as those who booked through the hotel. We were told at breakfast we would be charged since we booked online we did not received the voucher like the other guest. Room was nice and clean, and the ghost tour was great! The Skybar and Bistro at the top of the hotel is really neat and has an amazing view at night and during the day. Downtown was close and the ability to park (after paying for the amenities) at the sister hotel downtown was nice, there was even a shuttle between hotels so you didn't have to drive.

Great history

The hotel was nice. It has a beautiful view of the city. The hotel has a shuttle that takes you into downtown Eureka Springs which is nice considering the hotel is at the top of the hill. The ghost tour was informative but way over priced. We didn't have any ghost experiences. We did have some orbs in our pictures. If you can get room 218 or 3500 I think the experience would be even better. Overall its a neat hotel.

A bit expensive for what it's worth

The history of this great hotel was the biggest draw for us. The views are spectacular as well as the service. The rooms, however, are quite ordinary for the price. The ghost tour is pretty interesting and it seems there is quite a bit of paranormal activity even though I didn't experience anything personally. Free shuttle to downtown is a plus.

29th Anniversary on New Year's Eve

This hotel would be wonderful for Halloween with the crocked door frames and slanted floors. Kind of romantic for 125 years of history. The only problem we had was I wanted a relaxing night of sleep and our room was located directly about the live band that played until 12:15am! So we thought we would sleep in late, but the band started up again at 9am. It was the loudest hotel I've ever tried to sleep in.

Dining tip: In Hotel

The Crystal diningroom in the hotel had a nice but pricey brunch at $25.00 a person.

Wouldn't stay there again

I stayed 3 nights at the hotel. The carpet in my room had black stains all over it. I got locked in my bathroom in my hotel room twice because the door knob didnt turn all the way from the inside. The elevator was out my first night there, I had to walk up and down the 4 flights to the floor I stayed on. The tv's sound only worked on the Spanish speaking stations, not the English speaking ones. The tax on liquor in their bar is 33% per drink which you are not made aware of until after you purchase the drinks. The rooms are way too expensive for what you get. My room was very small, about 15 feet by 15 feet. This hotel is not worth the $150 plus that they charge per night.

Great Girls Getaway

We went for a girls getaway and to celebrate my sisters 40th birthday. From the moment we checked in we knew we had picked the right place. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was beautiful. Its so amazing to take a walk back into time but with all the modern amenities. John, our bellman was very helpful and insightful. The room was cozy, and yes it was very "active". Eureka is an amazing town with an amazing history. We can't wait to go back maybe around Christmas time.

25th anniversary

Yes it is old, but not taken care of. We had ants (I hope they were) in the bath room, and no comfortable siting. The carpet was in rough shape, and the bed was hard.

absolutely love this town

Beautiful hotel. Great staff. Lovely community besides the rude coffee shop located on the main strip. We will definitely be coming back to the Crescent. Take pictures after midnight!!! Eery stuff we captured! Fun fun!
