Wingate by Wyndham Bentonville AR

The hotel is brand new. The rooms were clean and nice. However, it was 25 minutes from the I540. I didn't realize that when I booked because we were going to the Arkansas College Game. The location was not convenient. The price was great...but you pay less because of the location.

staff was nice, breakfast was plenty, I would have liked bacon instead of sausage for a change, but overall, I enjoyed my stay and would return. Towels were not very soft and I would suggest (for many hotels) a better iron. It was a very clean and comfortable stay.

Came in early evening (after dark), checked in with incredibly personable gentleman. Received wake up call @ 3:50am and took free shuttle to airport. Never found switches for all the lights. Can't turn A/C - Heater on low fan, but it completely covers the sounds of the planes taking off (just over a mile away). Planes didn't run late so wasn't a problem anyways. Breakfast was so-so, but was ready by 4am! Also, they are working with our arrangements to get the pair of pants we forgot in the room. Will stay again.

The breakfast needs vast improvement. Over an hour before breakfast stopped serving, there was practically nothing left and not replenished. There were only 2 egg rounds and mine was hard, cold and rubbery as if it had been in there since early morning. There was not batter to make waffles, no muffins left, no meat, only a couple of pieces of white bread, no other breads left. This should be attended and replenished regularly. Since it was a reoccuring issue all week, I doubt it was an isolated incident. My wake up call came 45 minutes late. Three times my key did not work when I arrived at night. I was very careful where I stored they key and always store my key the same to avoid demagnatation. The bedding and quality were average especially these days where most hotels have upgraded to comfortable mattresses and high count sheets. I don't usually write poor reviews. Just thought you should be forewarned and the management should take notice and make adjustments to their service.

Nice and close to airport and not far from Wal-Mart Corporate Offices for business. Very convenient for a quick in and out trip. Staff at hotel was very nice and accommodating.
