Relaxing stay

Clean, well decorated room awesome friendly staff great bed, bathroom clean *not the hotel's fault but there was a dog barking nonstop- maybe such a nice hotel shouldnt accept pets

Clean, comfortable, convenient

This Tuscaloosa, AL Wyngate by Wyndham was a great choice for a weekend visit. It's conveniently located just off I-20 at exit 76, making for easy, quick access, but better ask for a room on the back side to cut down on noise from the interstate. The front desk staff was helpful and polite. We were able to pick up a restaurant guide and get suggestions for dinner from them. The room was clean and spacious, actually a little under-furnished (needed a 2nd chair or a loveseat) for the space, and decently decorated. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows, not so much (my opinion, not my husband's). There is a complimentary breakfast featuring hot and cold selections. No complaints. Will stay there again.

Sightseeing tip: Not Applicable

Take time to see and stroll around Univ. of Alabama campus. It's really lovely with beautiful grounds and historic buildings. Downtown is worth a look and has several good restaurants to offer. Northport, just across the Black Warrior River, is a quaint setting with shops and galleries.

The hotel was clean, looked new or recently renovated. Nothing special, but nice. Enjoyed wide variety of breakfast foods. Nice housekeeping and breakfast staff.
