Great newer hotel close to campus and shopping
Nice contintental breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and comfortable rooms. The water pressure was so-so, and the shampoo/soap were definitely economy, but the price and location were fantastic. We would definitely stay there again.

Good Stay
I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Comfortable room, good breakfast, great location. The rooms are small, but just fine for the single traveler or a couple. The drawback for me was the lack of guest laundry facilities.

Single super-traveler
By far the best bang for my buck.
This place was perfect for what I needed. A clean place to sleep at night with something to snack on in the morning.

SUPER CLEAN!
Very professional and friendly checkin, gave me the exact room I needed, SUPER CLEAN, the room, sheets, blankets, pillows, bathroom & tub, TV, everything was exceptionally clean. The front desk clerk even grabbed another pillow and extra sheets for us!

Good if you need a bed and a bath
The rooms are very small. Not good if you have children and forget about pets. Not a room if you want to converse with someone...unless you do so on the bed. If I had known the rooms were, in fact, micro, I would have chosen another place to stay. They did have good cookies, though.

Great Game Day Experience!
What a pleasant surprise. We were in Tuscaloosa for the Bama game and booked the room because it was what we could find. We had had a bad experience in another Microtel facility earlier this year and were a bit apprehensive. We could not have been more pleased with this place. Staff was fun and friendly. Game day atmosphere was great. We'll definitely stay again and have already recommended it to others.

The hotel was nice for the price! I will definitely say that the previous reviews were very accurate. Although the hotel looks exactly how the pictures look, the rooms are fairly small and the walls are paper thin. Although i was in a sleeping coma my other half said he heard the people next to us come in their room and converse all night.HA! The staff seemed friendly but since the hotel is fairly new, you could tell that the staff was still getting acclimated to the hotel as well.Overall, good stay!

Great Value and Location
We've stayed at several other hotels in Tuscaloosa; was a bit reluctant to stay at one with such an inexpensive rate. Hotel was as good or better than most (including those double the price!). Rooms were small but nice. Bed was very comfortable! Great location near Mid Town Village, Target and Home Depot. Will definitely stay here again. Only drawback was that we were on the 3rd floor and the room above had a loud wrestling match at 2 a.m. I would request the top floor next time!
