Room apparently wasn't cleaned
The sheets on one bed had not been changed. There was hair all over them and a glass on the floor with half of a drink in it. When staff called they sent more sheets and one of them had hairs on it.

Very good staff

Nice stay
Room was clean. The staff was very friendly. We were there to tour the music department at the university and the hotel location could not have been better. Overall a good place to stay.

Dirty
This hotel is is absolutely filthy. Ceiling falling down due to damp from the air vents. Wall sockets falling put of the wall. Bathroom filthy with a line of mold around the tub, floors not cleaned. Bed sheets not changed when requested. This hotel needs total renovation.

Clean and Close to Campus
The Hotel Capstone was perfect for our stay in Tuscaloosa. We moved our son into his dorm at BAMA which was just two blocks away. From the outside the hotel looked very plain, but upon entering the hotel it was very nicely decorated and the staff were great. My husband used the fitness center and said it was a nice facility. The only negative thing about the hotel is it is very noisy at night time. You could hear people in the hallway and conversations from the room next door. Other than that we had a wonderful experience and will use the hotel again when we go visit our son.
