Comfort Inn Tuscaloosa

This hotel is a disaster. We booked a room for two nights and only stayed one. The lobby is filthy. The yellow sofas in the lobby were stained. The ceiling was water-stained. The hotel smelled like mildew. The blankets had hairs from previous guests. I would rather sleep in the car, but decided against it when I saw men in the parking lot having a beer party.(Construction crews from road work.)

The hotel itself was ok but the smell wasbad. I knew it was a smoking room, and asked about the window opening, and they said it did. We arrived there and the hotel was sold out. We were on 1st floor, window did open but would not stay open with out propping it up with something, and being on the 1st floor did not feel safe. The longer the night went the worse the smell was. The bathrroom had nasty stains on the floor. other than that it was fine for 1 night.

Came for a campus visit at UA. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good, location was good. Will stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel for the night then attended the Alabama vs UTC football game. Hotel was adequate for this particular trip.

I stayed at the Comfort Inn Tuscaloosa after going to the Alabama Crimson Tide game. The staff was extremely nice and helped us by calling a taxi to take us to the game. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! Great location right off of the highway next to a Cracker Barrel. A little too expensive considering the hotel next door advertises a week stay for close to what it cost at the Comfort Inn for a night!
