Americas Best Value Inn

This stay was to be at the a game of 2011..For the money it wasnt to bad and yes i would stay again. the next time ill bring my own towels and plunger..4 the price it was ok...

For 50 bucks I expected something a little outdated, but I got something just a little more unbearable. I checked the bed when I first walked in and immediatly could see hair on a ruffled pillow! Ewww! I checked the bathroom and there was dirt around the outside of the toilet and it had unknown splatter on the seat!. The tub had been rinsed but not cleaned. There was a desk and chair and TV that had not been wiped down; I could see fingerprints and residue. When I laid across the bed it was horrible! The spread smelled of dirty clothes, pee and butt. I don't recommend this hotel. The only thing I can say favorable about this place is that the lady at the front desk was very friendly and the carpet had been vaccuumed. If you can, spend that extra $30 bucks and go to any of the other surrounding hotels or bring your own blankets and cleaner! I guess I got what I paid for.

Stay away from this hotel. the place was so Nasty I had to go and purchase bathroom cleaner and clean the bathroom before I could shower. I would have left if there were other hotels available but it was gradutation at UA. The bed did not have a bed frame it was on 2x6 wooden boards. The staff acted like they were doing you a favor and waiting on you. the ice machine did not work. In all it was just a horrible place!!

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! The manager, the front desk clerk, EVERYONE was unfriendly. There was not one thing that was depicted on the website!!! I wish there were negative ratings I could give this hotel!!1

Room was not clean. Carpet was not clean and sticky. Toliet had mold ring.

The only item bad was bathtowes was small

Person at check in was very nice and professional. Checked into room only to find TV reception wasn't very good. Bath floor felt oily. Bed was very comfortable. Can't complain about the price.

This was a last minute booking. Overall it was not too bad of a place to stay. It is an older motel and they didn't provide many towels and only one bar of soap. Also the towels were paper thin and very small. However it was quiet and the room was clean. There was also a smell that wasn't very good but it seemed to go away in about a day or so. We probably wouldn't stay again, but for a last minute place it's not bad at all.

Attended college orientation w/ daughter coffee pots only had 2-3 cups in room; very small towels Overall this was superior to Motel 6 in Mobile, Al which was prior hotel stay in April 2009

I was very pleased with the room and its location. The room was clean and more than adequate. It had a mmicrowave, refrigerator, and ironing board along with the usual amenities. The continental breakfast could have been better, but I won't complain considering the price I paid for the room. We were a little disappointed that the pool was not open yet but I understand because it has been very cool. All-in-all, it was a great room for the price and in a great location!
