Pratville Overnight
This chain hotel is about two miles off Interstate 65 on the commercial strip leading in to Prattville. The room was fine, although the carpeting needed repacement or cleaning, in my room. Staff was very helpful. Members of the LPGA stayed here in September 2011 when they played a tournament at the fine Robert Trent Jones golf course close-by and enjoyed it. A good choice. I would stay here again if driving to Orange Beach, Alabama.

Jameson Inn: not what it use to be.
Previous trip was a few years ago, staff was professional, rooms were great and quiet. Our female desk clerk greated us with greasey hair and wrinked shirt while eating french fries during our entire check in. Any questions we asked, she replied with the most irritating attitude that she obviously wanted us to feel guilty for bothering her during her ff snack. Our room smelled highly of some type of strong room freshener and there was a HUGE stain right in the front when you opened the door. Children and adults ran back and forth stomping on the floor and upstairs above us well after 11pm. My husband was angry well into the night. I have a broken foot and we had to park 5 spaces beyond our door(on the lower level)our experience was irritating. Bright side, morning male clerk for check out: very helpful and courteous - the motel should consider promoting him and firing the greasey headed blonde female...

Pleasant Experience
I did have a very pleasant stay at the Jameson Inn. The Customer Service, from the desk clerk to the Housekeeping Staff, was always very kind and helpful. The only 'negative' thing about the hotel was the carpet in our room. Although vacuumed, it had a lot of stains on it.

OK experience for a Jameson property
One-night business trip to Montgomery. Good service and good location, but the quality of the room was not what I am used to for Jameson Inns. Thin walls and some old furniture and supplies. Breakfast was pretty basic; area was well-kept. Still, not bad for the price.

Avoid This Hotel
We rented two rooms at the hotel. We chose this hotel based on reviews we had read. Reveiws that erroneously suggested for the price this was a great deal. What we found was the carpet in both rooms had several stains, there were children's stickers stuck to the tile on the floor in one bathroom. Both of the rooms had dirty hand marks on the walls, door frames, and light switches. When it came time to go to bed, both rooms were the same. Both rooms had two flat sheets on the bed, and a duvet cover, with nothing inside of the cover. In essesence we basically had 4 sheets to sleep under, and not a blanket to be found in either room. The next morning we went to the breakfast the hotel offered. There was dry cereal with no milk, biscuits and gravy - but with no milk they used water in the gravy. No muffins, No butter for toast, No way to even make a bowl of instant oatmeal. Overall this was probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. AVOID THIS HOTEL if you want to enjoy your trip.

Convenient
Check-in staff was very friendly, room on arrival was clean. However, the temperature seemed to be controlled elsewhere. It was impossible to get room really cool. The next day, we placed do not disturb sign on door while we were getting dressed. We left the room at approximately 9:15 A.M. Returned at about 2:30 P.M. Room had not been cleaned. In checking we were told help had gone for day and they did not clean because of the do not disturb sign. No apology made and no offer of help. Had to reuse towels, had no coffee for coffee maker, and had to make our own bed. We have stayed here many times in past but it had been a while. We were disappointed.

Not as nice as other Jamison Inns
Very surprised at the motel feel and the bareness of the place. Granted, previous Jameson Inn experience were in different states and about 10 years ago, but I was so thrilled to get reservations for our little group and then so embarassed when we walked up the(outside) stairs and into the sad little room. There were good options nearby for dining and shopping.
