A good value

After a long day driving, we were ready to relax and we arrived to find a clean, quiet room and fresh cookies. The morning breakfast was good -- make-your-own-waffles, tortillas with eggs and ham, yogurt -- several healthy choices. The woman attending the breakfast room was very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again. The only inappropriate thing was the girl who left the front desk where she was working and was seen kissing a boyfriend seated at a computer while she was supposed to be working.

Money-saving tip: In Hotel

Borrow a book from the library shelf in the hotel, take it to your room or with you on your travels and return it at another Country Inns and Suites down the road. As a former teacher, I appreciate books being provided for all age levels and promoting reading as a leisure activity.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in!!!

We have stayed at this hotel several times on the way home from late college football games. They are very good at holding the room for our late arrival. The lobby is very nice, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Because the rooms are suites, there is a lot of space... this is especially good when traveling with kids. The rooms are also quiet and clean. On this last trip, I noticed that there was a bad review for this hotel, but that did not stop me at ALL. The full service breakfast that is included with your stay is wonderful...especially the omelets!

Won't be back

This is the worst motel I've stayed in recently; it's vastly overpriced for what is offered. It's service and room is comparable to a Motel 6. Any request to motel staff was met with lame excuses why they couldn't provide us with simple services. The so-called breakfast was practically non-existent, I took my family out to eat. The beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows were poor quality. The A/C was so noisy we turned it off to sleep. The interior of the hotel has some pretty shabby handiwork that looks like the stairway was just slapped together. I travel alot in my work and routinely find far superior rooms and service elsewhere for much less money. I regret staying in this motel.

No rest in this 'Country'

Country Inn and Suites in Prattville, Alabama was a midway stopping point for us on our way back to Kentucky. We wanted a place to sleep that was not terribly expensive. I was sick that we paid as much as we did for a terrible nights sleep in an outdated room with stiff bed linens. The room was clean and it had a flat screen tv and an average bathroom but considering where it is I would imagine most people are looking for a good nights sleep. You won't get it. We had a room with two queeen beds because that was all that was available. They do not have bed skirts around the box springs leaving a less than homey feeling. The mattresses are hard and not very thick and the pillows sink in when you move. The mattress had less give and thickness than basic mattress sets you would buy for a guest bedroom. As I said earlier the bed linens leave much to be desired. On top of it all the alarm clock went off at 5:00 am blaring music after we finally dozed off! I would have been more than happy to spend a little more money and go to another hotel up the road than to have spent what we did here! It was extremely dissappointing!!!

Family Friendly

The Country Inn and Suites in Prattville, Alabama was family friendly. It is easy to find as it is just off I-65. It had a good size indoor pool for the kids. The rooms were clean and well maintained and the staff was friendly. The free breakfast was pretty basic fare but good. I would definitely stay again.

Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

There are a movie theater, a mall, and several restaurants about one-half mile from the hotel.
