Days Inn Phenix City - Ft Benning

Wonderful stay will be my 1st choice when i'm in the city again. Wifi connection was extremely fast.

This Hotel was nice and I would recommend to others depending on their needs. I was there for my sons graduation and would have like to been closer to the base and main part of the shopping area's. Other then that it was clean and all employees I talked with were polite and helpful. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and the complimentary breakfast.

Very convenient and even though over the internet where I registered, the staff corrected the reservation and upgraded me to a suite in which they didn't have to do. They really care about their customers. GREAT JOB

I've stayed at my share of cheap hotels and honestly, my philosophy is, if it's clean, everything works, and you get a bargain price, you come out on top. I'm sad to say that this hotel was a miss. I was in town for a funeral and couldn't find any other hotels in the area. My husband and I booked a room with our 1 year old. As soon as we arrived from the long drive, I used the rest room. Upon washing my hands, I realized the sink was severely clogged. I remained calm...no big deal, right? I asked my husband to call the front desk. The person answering said that they could give us a plunger so that we could unclog the sink. Really? I pay XX amount of dollars to stay in a working hotel, get off the road from a 12 hour drive, and I'm asked to unclog my sink? After a few talks with the desk, a few delays, and after the next day someone is sent from housekeeping to unclog the drain; too bad that the toilet clogged that evening. Unbelievable! Good thing I was sleep when that happened. My husband was kind enough to go downstairs and get the plunger. Needless to say, I was very uncomfortable there, particularly with my son, and couldn't wait to leave. [...]

There was an old gummy bear stuck to the carpet and slowly dissolving. There was an empty cup behind the bedside table. There was a used washcloth hanging on the shower curtain. We had to ask for more coffee the second day but didn't get any cups. We reported these things and rather than someone taking care of it, we were on the phone for 10 minutes and nothing happened. The beds weren't even made the second day nor were there any fresh towels. One of the 2 computers available didn't appear to work. The breakfast was picked over by 7-biscuits left, but no gravy and no effort to bring in any. It was a sad little breakfast. The apples were very crisp and juicy, though. I'd spend more the next trip and be in a more upscale hotel.

This was a great place to stay. Only down side was breakfast area was too small and no elevator. Place was clean and decent. We were also close to Ft. Bennings for my son's graduation which was great. Staff was awesome.

Stayed 5 nights. Nice suite, but maid service was spotty--couldn't seem to change the towels in a timely manner (2-3 hours) even though less than half full. Breakfast marginal, but OK.

I just used this hotel to stay overnight before reporting for a class at Fort Benning and it was exactly what I needed. It is only a 10 minute drive max to get on post and there are restaurants right in the area to grab a quick bite.
