Old Hotel, Desperate Need of Re-Model

First let me say that the hotel served it's purpose. A last minute booking for the Talladega race after we planned to camp and the weather turned too cold. As others stated, it's a very old hotel. By the 3rd night, the bathroom ceiling was leaking so badly that you would get wet using the toilet! It was obviously something that had happened before, as the ceiling had a previous make-shift repair using vinyl siding! Staff was friendly. Breakfast was fine - pop tarts, donuts, etc. I don't know why anyone would complain about that - that's what continental breakfast IS after all! Don't expect something hot or homemade. In room appliances looked new (fridge and microwave), except coffee maker which was ancient. Beds we resting on wooden hand made platform, which we discovered when my kids jumped from one bed to the other (like all kids do at a hotel) and the mattress slide right off the top! I would definintley not choose to stay here again, but it served it's purpose for a warm place to lay our heads at night.

Okay for overnight

This was just a one night stop while conducting business in Annistion. The hotel was nice and quiet and I didn't hear any noise from neighboring rooms or roads. It's just average but for a weary traveller it would be a decent stop.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

A couple of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel and shopping a short drive away.
