From the moment we pulled into the circular hotel entry-way we were treated like royalty. The food was wonderful and very ... reasonably priced also. The rooms were clean, and very pretty and the view was awesome from the room on the fourth floor. We also used the Voyagers Lounge for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner and during the entire evening I thought I had been transported to a tropical paradise, the food was superb, the staff nothing short of excellent and the whole set-up was perfect! Thanks to all who served us the great meal, and to the chef and to [...]!

Nice location. The hotel and beach were very crowded since it was one of last weekends before the kids go back to school. ... Could not sit on the balcony because there was constant cigarette smoke coming from other guests. Went to a concert at the Wharf and this hotel was convenient.

Across the street at the Marina were cute shops and restaurants. Also, ate at Cobalt, which was just across the bridge. Good food, nice location on the water.

When I searched for hotels on the beachfront, not many were available. When I come across Perdido Beach Resort, I thought ... the price was a little high, but then read all the amenities: 2 restaurants, Nightclub, and fitness center. Then thought it wasn't bad for all that. When we got there, a youth group was also booked there. I am not one to talk bad about youth groups, but this one was very rude and not courteous whatsoever. A lot of them stayed on our floor, which in turn lead them to knocking on our door at late hours and very early mornings, not to mention them being very loud. Then, we were not told in advance, but the nightclub was closed, and that was really one main reason we stayed there, to avoid from going out a lot. The weather was not that great, so that made the nightclub closed even more frustrating. Overall, not worth what I paid for a room for 2 nights. I will search longer next time.

Great place to stay

The Perdido Beach Resort met all our expectations and more. We received a free upgrade at check in, everyone we encountered ... (including the other guests) was friendly. We stayed on New Year's Eve and when we requested a cab, the staff made several calls to cab companies to find transportation for us. The room was incredibly clean and the bed very comfortable. The balcony facing the gorgeous beach was a real plus. We will definitely be back.

The hotel staff was nice and the rooms were clean. On the lower level was a pizza/ice cream parlor which was ideal for a ... long day in the sun. The pool didnt seem as blue as it should have, but that may have been due to the chemicals. They did provide you with a mini frige which was ideal and the balcony was nice. The hotel was situated in a good location and the price was ok.

One Stop Vacation
Scott May 6, 2007
I was totally impressed with the fact that I could stay at one place and find plenty to do. We had drinks and entertainment ... out by the pool, in the lounge and bar. We also had 4 different places to choose to eat our meals and the food was great. The game room will come in handy when our children get older, but we had so much fun without any worries!
