great location, but

The room was every small.Their was no place to put or clothes. The drain in the shower/tub would take ten minutes to empty Our internet did not work for two of the four days we were there. Good location we loved the beach. One last thing the tennis court were in very poor condition. They had big cracks, sagging nets and trash and leaves along the fence. Over priced.

Algae beach

Imagine paying over $250.00 a night for room, $25.00 for beach chair to observe green algae. Hotel is nice, good location, but can't swim in the gulf.

Perdido Beach Resort

Nice location. The hotel and beach were very crowded since it was one of last weekends before the kids go back to school. Could not sit on the balcony because there was constant cigarette smoke coming from other guests. Went to a concert at the Wharf and this hotel was convenient.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

Across the street at the Marina were cute shops and restaurants. Also, ate at Cobalt, which was just across the bridge. Good food, nice location on the water.

need some sort of club type activity for young children

can't beat the close proximity to the beach.. quite shocked that the hotel did'nt do anything about warning beachgoers/swimmers about the sharks close by.. the sand nice and the water clear ( very comparable to Destin beaches..) had some great eating places close by which was a plus...all in all had a pleasant vacation.

Nice place expensive food

Our room was clean and had a nice view. Mattress was lumpy. Ate dinner at the café restaurant and ordered a seafood platter(very small) and a spinach salad with grilled chicken. The salad was the size of a side salad and the grilled chicken was chopped into little pieces and was hard. I thought it was a crouton. Would stay again, but not eat at the restaurant.
