Great staff that were always friendly and ready to assist at a moments notice. Loved the location. I had a room overlooking ... the pool, but could also see the gulf from 1/2 of the balcony. Beds were a bit too solf for me and could hear people in hall and next door. But, these were only minor issues. Never went down for the $10 breakfast. Would certainly return.

Lusters on Canal drive was awesome!!! Great service, great food at a reasonable price! I will be eating there everytime I visit the Orange Beach area.

A weekend get away

Check in/ out process was smooth until we checked credit card that evening and there was an extra charge. When called stated ... an extra amt charged to allow for extra charges in room. The hotel didn't want to speak at the time to call to discuss as they were busy. It was supposedly corrected without difficulty. The view was of another hotel to the side of us and had to look down the side of hotel to see the ocean. The bed was very confortable and there was no complaints with services. The elevators were slow to respond and get to designated floors.

I went to the area for the first time this past weekend for a beach wedding. Decided to stay at Hilton Garden Inn and I think ... it was a great choice. I liked the breakfast available for a resonable price. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I do wish the restaurant was open for luch and dinner.

The front desk agents were great! They gave us all the information we would need. They even helped us out with bottle ... openers. The pictures were a little bit more then what the hotel actually was. However it was an ok property. They staff was sooo friendly. Way friendlier then other people in the area. I loved the beach being so close and easy to get to. Overall it was a great stay.

We usually stay in a condominium, first time in a hotel on the beach. We had reserved a Gulfront room, but were told this was ... an Orbitz error and they could not accomodate us. This was very dissappointing. It was more family oriented and noisy than we had hoped for. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great.

The wife and I stayed overnight for a quiet getaway. Service was fantastic and the room was very nice. We really enjoyed ... the beach access. We didn't get to use the pool but it seemed very nice. It was a bit crowded as there were many families with children. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the dining area was nice although very near the main lobby entrance. Again, the service was very good. The cost for a single night stay was a bit pricey, but anything right on the beach is going to be, and this place actually is right on the beach. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely consider staying here again for a similar trip.

We went to Orange Beach for a 3-day mini-vacation. The nightly rate through the Garden Inn website was extremely high, but ... we booked through Orbitz and saved a few hundred dollars. After these savings, you couldn't ask for a better hotel for the price. The rooms were a nice size with king size sleep number beds! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The pool and bar area was excellent. The only thing that I could think to complain about would be that the bathrooms were kinda small...Not that big a deal in the scope of things.

If you're traveling with family, definately make your way to the Hangout on the corner of Hwy 59 and Hwy 182. There's something for everyone there from ages 1 to infinity.

LuLu's off of Hwy 59 is wonderful. The Shrimp Basket near the Hangout on Hwy 59 was also very good for a low price.

quiet getaway

this was the first time i stayed at the hilton garden inn and i was very much impressed. the location was excellent, right on ... the beach, convenient to many eateries and activities. the room was beautiful and spacious but the bathroom was a little smaller than i like. there were more than adequate towels which was wonderful, a coffee maker, a nice closet to hang up our clothes. i liked the balcony but the view was a little limited since it was on the side of the hotel. the breakfast buffet was delicious, fresh and the staff was ultra friendly in the dining room. the only thing i thought that could use improvement would be the fact that the elevators were pretty slow and the lobby would get crowded with people while you waited. overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the hilton garden inn.

The Hilton Garden Inn at Orange Beach was very conveniet for us. We were visiting friends and we were happy we were able to ... get a hotel on the beach on short notice. It was comfortable and had a refridgerator. We were given 2 bottles of water and a snack on arrival. We felt that our car was very secure with the parking garage since we were on a major beach road. There were many restaurants nearby and many shops and activities. The Inn was a little congested at times with only two elevators and right in the hall of the everyone getting off to go to the beach. We had an excellent breakfast and the dining room staff were very efficient making sure we had everything we needed at all times. I would book this hotel again.

We found our way over to the wharf and marina. There is a outdoor ampitheater for shows and there are shopping and eating places up and down a quaint mainstreet with outdoor tables. Also can eat outside all along the marina. It was beautiful at sundown and was a nice way to end our evening.

This was a very relaxing place to stay for my husband and I . There were many nice quiet families staying there as well. We ... had a great room, and even though we did not have a direct balcony view, or view was still nice and we enjoyed the ocean breeze we felt at night. The bed was the most comfortable we've ever stayed in and it was exceptionally clean. The hotel staff went out of their way to keep us happy and we had a great time.!

The Hilton Garden Inn Orange Beach is a small quiet hotel out of the busy mainstream condos, with great restaurants nearby. ... We always stay at this location because of the friendly service and beautiful beach. The room was large enough and the bed was very comfortable. The only complaint I have is the lack of a view of the beach from our room. We had a side room which overlooked the next hotel, which is not what I had hoped. Otherwise, the trip was enjoyable and we'll definitely plan another visit.

Not a four star hotel

The room was average with two queen beds. The bathroom had only 1 sink and a small tub/shower which had no hot water both ... nights we stayed there for our anniversary. The pool was nice which had a bar, however the frozen margarita's we bought did'nt have much flavor and the bartender failed to tell me that the beer was a pry off and not twist off cap. The beach was nice and clean, however we were not aware we would have to pay $25 a day for use of the beach chairs with umbrella. Also, make reservations ahead of time or you will have to wait 2-3 to eat at a nice restaurant. Lulu's usually has a 1-2 wait for dinner, so we went for lunch and had no wait and the food and music was great. Best key lime pie ever! We will go again but will stay at a nicer facility.

If you're traveling with family, definately make your way to the Hangout on the corner of Hwy 59 and Hwy 182. There's something for everyone there from ages 1 to infinity.
