Better than expected,
I had not stayed at a Fairfield Inn before, but if they are all like this one, I'll be back. All the staff were exceptional, friendly, and helpful. My wife loved how beautiful the design of the furnishings in guest rooms, lobby, and the breakfast area were. Speaking of breakfast, the selection of breakfast items were much better than any other hotel I have stayed at. There were too many items to list here. The breakfast lady, Wynee, was exceptional and made us feel welcome. This hotel is not on the beach, but I was told that if you ask they will use a golf cart from the hotel to get you close. I highly recommend this hotel.

Grazi's Italian Restaurant is an excellent restaurant. I recommend it above all the other good restaurants we tried.

Overcharged- Hide your Wallet
Terrible!
Good: Ice cream shoppe across the street which sells burgers and fries. Excellent. The owner pays attention to detail to make your dining experience great.Jake's steakhouse-a must to visit.Bad: I was charged twice-[...] for the price of the room again! Two days later charge is still on my account. Manager stated that she had this situation taken cared of and would fax me paperwork. As of 2 days later, still waiting! Will call again.The shuttle will take you to the corner of the block away from the hotel for you to walk across a BUSY 6 LANE HIGHWAY. Using the shuttle more like golf cart to the beach with small kids and all the accessories was a NO GO! My family and I got out in amazement. So we turned around got in the truck and drove to a public section of the beach which included RESTROOMS.Overall, I would not stay at this hotel. We paid double price for terrible misleading service. I would not recommend to anyone.

GREAT STAY
My wife and I went down to Orange Beach for my daughter's cheerleaders competition. We arrived after 1:00am and very tired. We walked into the room and WOW!!! I knew I was going to get a well deserved rest. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. This one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on in a Hotel.

We were recommended to eat at "The Shrimp Basket" which was five minutes away from the hotel and was a good choice of dining with no wait and good food.
