The Shores offers one bedroom studios, two and three bedroom condos. Both indoor and outdoor pools, BBQ, state of the art fitness center, sauna, steam room and whirlpool are all included. Units are beautiful inside and out and include granite countertops, flat screen televisions, free broadband Internet and more. All two and three bedroom units have spacious balconies overlooking the Gulf. One bedroom units are compact, and do not include balconies, but are a great choice for the value-conscious traveler who prefers to spend most of their time at the pools or on the beach. Come to where paradise and luxury meet. Opened in 2008, the Shores provides the finest in everything, from the moment you arrive, you will know you have made the right choice, and once you stay, you will want to return again and again. Please note that the minimum age required at check-in is 21. Office hours are as follows, 8am-5pm Sunday and Monday through Friday, and 8am-8pm Saturday. Please note, pets are not allowed on the property. No boats, trailers or RVS may be parked at the resort. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 10am. Please check-in at lobby on level 3. Min. age at check-in is 21. Guests unaccompanied by an individual 25 years or older are required to pay a damage deposit of USD 500.00. This deposit is fully refundable at check-out upon inspection of room. If you are checking in after hours or find our offices closed, please call 1-251-979-5040 as prominently posted on our office door. Orange Beach boasts miles of sugar white beaches reaching down to the warm, blue Gulf waters, creating a seaside destination that rivals anything. Enjoy area theme parks, waterside restaurants, historic sites, golf and shopping on the Emerald Coast.

Nice condo!

We rented a one bedroom condo. It was very nice, but the kitchen was small. Even cooking breakfast was difficult. It was a ... nice stay. The staff was pleasant. Great location. Be prepared to do some of the cleanup work before you leave, but it wasn't unreasonable. If you go, look for the fountain out front to find the entrance.

*How did this compare to previous trips you have taken? - We've been to Nassau for our Honeymoon and Seattle for our ... Anniversary, this wasn't like our other trips (but we didn't really expect it to be!) We did have a GREAT time though, and we'd go back to Orange Beach (just wouldn't stay at the same place!) We'd prefer a hotel NOT a condo next time (we were NOT told it was a condo!) *Was there something missing that would have made your stay more enjoyable? - We'd prefer a restaurant & bar on site (instead we had to drive to get meals & drinks!)

The rooms are nice and roomy, but the 1br do not have a window looking outside. Also, be aware that check-out is 10:00 am and ... you have to do some cleaning before leaving.

Something for everyone

Rooms were spotless, not to mention HUGE! Indoor pool for bad weather times. Sauna, steam room, hot tub, exercise room, all ... were clean and well kept. We were extremely happy with this location. Will definitely look here first for our next beach trip.

Fantastic vacation getaway!!!

We could not have asked for a better vacation getaway. We upgraded to a two bedroom when we got there for balcony purposes ... and the staff was more than helpful with accomadating us. When we first walked in the condo, we were taken aback by the size of the condo. It was enourmous and first class all the way. It was extremely clean and nicely decorated. Great view from the balcony! All the amenities one could ask for was there for your use. Good fitness center with steam room and sauna. Really enjoyed the pool and great access to the beach. Will definitely be staying here again!

Great hotel right on the beach. The staff was very friendly and the rooms are clean, with everything you need like dishes, ... washer/dryer right by each room, beach towels, etc. My family and I had a great stay and a lot of fun on our vacation.

THe sleep impossible vacation!

i bedroom ended up being interior studio - that was doable however the furniture in the living area was so small that my 150 ... lb husband and I could not sit comfortably on the couch as it was so shallow; the AC unit was extremely noisy which made it very, very difficult to sleep. The 2-3 bedrooms may have been better but I cannot recc the 1 bedroom units.

Beautiful, new, on-the-beach condo. Has indoor pool, indoor hottub, sauna & workout room. Also has huge outdoor pool & a ... kiddie pool located next to the gazebo. Perfect boardwalk to the beach, not too close, not too far. Very very clean. Plenty of bath linens, also had beach towels for your personal use to use while visiting. This condo very much resembled a resort. Will definately be back. Had no bad experiences while here. A+++

HIGHLY recommend The Hangout. GREAT for kids during the day, nightlife for adults in the evening. Kids eat free all week for lunch.

The trip was wonderful....We have no complaints except that the air conditioner is in the bedroom closet, and it is very ... noisy. But after the first night, we were used to it and didn't even hear it anymore. The pool was perfect, and the boardwalk to the beach was also great. We had a one bedroom condo, and it was large and spacious, and was more than enough room for four people. It is a great facility and we are looking forward to staying again.

The Tanger outlet is right up the road a short drive. Although I was disapointed because the "outlet mall" had very few outlet stores. Most were just regular or factory stores and not outlets. But the mall was very large and we did enjoy it anyways.

Escapes!

We had a wonderful family vacation at Escapes! The only drawback was the one bedroom condos didn't have a window. Otherwise, ... everything was fantastic. We enjoyed both pools and hot tubs and really liked the activities Escapes offered. We participated in the shell dig, bingo, and sand castle contest. A great family vacation spot!

Great place, but probably won't return

This place is very nice. Our room (a one-bedroom) was beautiful and the perfect size for our family of 3. We loved the ... pools, both indoor and outdoor, and enjoyed the proximity to the beach. I was worried that the room would be dark with only one window facing the interior hall. However, directly in front of the window, across the hall, was a window facing the outside. That helped give us a "view" and some natural light. We were on the 6th floor. However, we will not return. The AC is located in the bedroom and it made an AWFUL noise every time it went on and off. While the AC was on, it did make normal AC noise, and that did not bother us. But, every time it came on or off, it made an awful drilling-like noise. Because of this, we will not return. Maybe other units do not have this noise, but it is not worth the risk for us. There are plenty of other places in the area to try. If you take away the AC noise, we would definitely return.

This place was very nice. We especially enjoyed the outdoor grill and fireplace. The room was very clean and set up great. ... We had a one bedroom which did not have a view, but we knew that when we booked the trip. The only negative was the hot water heater and the air conditioner unit was in a closet in the bedroom and it woke us up frequently.

Beautiful new condos on the white sandy beach. The 2 bed/2 bath condo was enormous also had a lovely armoire which was ... actually a queen murphy bed in the massive living/ dinning room. The bed rooms had king beds and each bathroom had a jacuzzi tub and seperate glass shower with multiple heads. All tvs were new LCD and each had a dvd player. The entertainment center in the livingroom also had surround soung and a 5 disc dvd/cd player. All countertops in the condo are solid granite. There is a long bar with stools and a full dining table with 6 chairs. Fully stocked kitchen with toaster, coffee maker and blender. There are washer and dryers that are shared between 2 units. There are 3 pools indoor, outdoor and childrens pool and 2 fountain areas with plenty of seating. The short boardwalk to the beach has 2 showers. I will absolutely be going back to Escape at the Shores again!
