This hotel was horrible. It smelled weird in the room, The hot water didn't work in the shower, and for some reason when I checked out the hotel had my room charged to someone else credit card so they couldn't give me a receipt. They blamed that on [...]. On top of all that I went down to the lobby to get some towels and the person at the desk checked someone into a room like mine for half the rate I had paid. Over all I would never Stay in a travel lodge again

Hotel is in excellent location to Auburn University, very easy access on and off interstate. Requested and recieved handicap room. While modifications for the handicap had been made, the bathroom was still tight and it needed handicap toilet (sits you higher). The bed was clean but the carpet needed work, just did not look as clean as desired. Refig was nice, just could not get it to really cool down drinks but I guess that is what the ice machines are for.

Good location, next to I-85 and a few restaurants. Clean room. nice hotel staff.

I have never been on a trip before but I think Travelodge was a very good first choice for a hotal and I would stay there again cause I loved it! I enjoyed watching Tv and swimming in the pool while I was there, I bet they had good breakfast but I didn't get up in time to eat breakfast opps oh well. There was nothing really missing I loved every minute of it.

The location was great, right down the road from where we had to be the next morning. I was disappointed that the pool was green and the ice machine was out of order but the area was quiet and the room was clean and the staff was friendly. the continental breakfast could use some help but can"t complain for a free breakfast.

The room was nice in 1960, since then the carpet has been burned several times, so much so that trying to walk over the 2 inch deep holes was difficult to say the least. My fiance' and myself were weary of taking off our shoes on the carpet because it looked dirty on top of the holes showing bare floor. besides that the walls were dirty, the corners of the room were havens for dead bugs, and i was so uncomfortable i didnt sleep and was ready to go at 9 am. I do not recommend this motel to anyone.

it is what the title says. its a room. not a great room, just a room. price was very reasonable. would only stay if there were no other rooms available.

My wife,daughter,two granddaughters,nephew and I checked into the Travelodge Opelika,Opelika,Al. We rented 2 rooms and when my daughter got into her room and pulled back the bed sheets she found a large dried up BLOOD STAIN. We called the front desk to have the sheets changed.They changed them and acted as though this was normal.My daughter then went out to buy some Lysol Disinfectant Spray. The pool did look clean,but when my granddaughters wanted to go swiming the gate was locked and when I asked about it the lady at the desk told me that the person who had the key was at Home Depot and would be back shortly.After an hour we asked again and they sounded annoyed so we checked out and checked into another hotel. WILL NEVER STAY AT THAT HOTEL AGAIN !!!!!!!
