dont stay here, i didnt
in town for business, busy weekend because of auburn game. Hotel not clean, smelled musty. i did not stay there, found a cleaner hotel.

Wow, where to start. We reserved 2 non-smoking rooms. Upon arrival, we were given smoking rooms that had nicotine running down the back of the doors. Were told they were fully booked and couldn't move. Upon going bak to the room after asking to me moved, found black "pubic" like curly hair under the sheets, under the pillows, and on the towels. Went back to the front desk and said that's it, we want our money back, were going elsewhere, only to have the Front Desk Clerk (who was very nice) proceeded to tell us that employee's, truckers, and anyone with a fear of cleanliness refuses to stay at this hotel. Apparently some India people bought it and have let it run in to the ground. The lady complaing right before us had been checked into a room that was checked off as being clean and by cleaning it they simply had just remade the bed with the same sheets as the previous guest. So with all that said. GOOD LUCK ! HOPE YOU LIKE HAIR !

Could have been better
All together it was a good place to rest. I did not like the bathroom, needs updating. The room had small rochs, never stayed at any hotel or motel that had them. Besides those two problems, the room was ok. I loved the king sized bed.

Hotel for Auburn Football Games
We use this hotel for football weekends. For the time we spend in the room it is a good deal. Much better than many others in the area. The Breakfast bar is good and the front desk staff and cleaning staff are very nice. My only real complaints are that all the rooms AC units need to be cleaned. Mold can be seen and smelled in the units. Beds could be more comfortable. Pillows and coverlets are good, but mattresses are still not too comfy...

Great Location for Auburn events
The location to the Auburn football game was very good. There were a few hairs scattered around the bathroom that could have been a little cleaner. Also, there was no vent fan in the bathroom....All in all it wasn't spotless but I'm not that picky so I would probably stay there again simply for the convenience of the location.

"alot for the money"
it was really dark in the room some of the lights were not working.It was much cleaner than expected.

My review of Quality Inn Opelika
The room was dirty and the linen looked as though it had not been changed from he last guest. Only one chair in the room other than the straight back desk chair. Had to call maintanice at move in as one light bulb was missing and one was burned out. there was much dirt on top of burned out bulb. The wife felt very uncomforable in the room. Room rate doubled on Friday as Auburn was playing football at home. That night the motel was probably not even half full. The check in staff and girl at breadfast was the real joy of our stay.

Hotel was nice
The Quality Inn was nice. We really enjoyed the breakfast the next day. Due to this enjoyment, I would recommend the hotel.
