Microtel Inn and Suites Opelika

My only complaints are that I left the privacy symbol on and when I got back to my room it had been made up and the privacy sign was off, and my room was near the side exit door which would slam loudly every time someone came or went late at night. Other than that, I had a very good stay and it would be hard to beat for the price.

The hotel is almost new. Very clean, flat panel TV's (no golf channel, desk said cable company pulled channel), friendly helpful staff. Very convienent to shopping, dining. Somewhat of a limited selection @ breakfast, but good enough. Great value, and I will stay there again when I return to the area.

Always enjoy our stays at Microtel and this was no exception. Great location especially as being near stores and restaurants. Quiet location and had everything we wanted. Recommend to all!

Clean, comfortable. Great stay! Used their fitness center, wish I had a chance to use the pool too. Good breakfast.

This hotel is in a great location. There is a wide variety of resturants and shops located right across from the hotel and it is only a 10 minute drive into Auburn.

Clean room with good pillows. Great price and location.

Stayed here one night while on the road. The room (we had one queen bed) was slightly small, but perfect for a couple and had a lovely window seat. Also had a good sized mini fridge and microwave. The hotel was very new and clean. Wonderful staff, wonderful breakfast, and a nice pool!! Will definitely recommend to friends!

Nice room. Cozy and practical. Broken chain on toilet flush handle fixed immediately. Great shower - lots of pressure and hot water. Crush at breakfast as everyone in hotel seemed to arrive at once to small area. Ran out of creamers - left with only flavored stuff which tastes awful. Slept well - plenty of coolness from AC and lots of pillows.

Very nice experience, still close to everything but didn't pay price of being in Auburn

my experience here was better than i expected! i was willing to pay nearly $100 for another hotel that had more star ratings but i'm glad my partner talked me into trying this place! it's a new hotel, clean, non-smoking, no pets, have a nice breakfast, super friendly staff, handicap accessible, nice kitchenette areas in the suites, great housekeeping...overall i loved it! only drawback for me was the walls were sorta thin so if you're easily aroused during sleep then i'd probably consider other options (i could hear my neigbor's conversations and ppl down the hall but @ night it's pretty much quiet nothing rowdy or anything) favorite amenity was the doorbells each room has it's far more pleasant than hearing an annoying knock at the door lol there's free wi-fi, free local and long distance calling, sufficient breakfast to get ur day started, microwave and fridge in EVERY room, oh, and the standard rooms were quite smaller than i'd expected however, it had a comfy/cozy feel so i can't complain i loved it despite its 'flaws'. also, there's a day bed type of seating area in the room, i napped there & that's quite comfy...overall this hotel was superb in my book! i will be staying here again! def 2 thumbs up :) great staff, great stay, had a great weekend!
