our experience at the hotel
Well let me start with the room smelled like a smoking room which it was not suppose to there were no towels no tissue and the t.p. was not on the roll not that we could not do that but that is what you expect the pillows were for.... well I don't know let's just say they were little and flat uncomfortable the coffee maker did not work and when my husband went down to get coffee one of the employees spilt the whole pot and he was not waiting around for another one to be made and oh yes the one that was there before was empty. Oh and when we did get towels they felt like you were drying off with sandpaper so needless to say it was not a good experience.

Not Good
Requested non-smoking room. Received a smokers room. it was like sleeping in an ashtray. Room was nasty. Will not go back.

Overnight travellers
Better than I could have imagined
We were hesitant to stay at this hotel given the previous reviews, but we were travelling over night and really just needed some place to lay our heads. The rate was perfect for that which made me even more leary. Turns out the room was neat, clean, no bugs, perfect! To top it off they offered free breakfast which wasn't extensive but served the purpose for a traveller. I would definitely stay there again.

Auburn Mom
Best Western - NOT!
We were not happy with this hotel! I reserved a king bed non-smoking. When we arrived, we were told there were no non-smoking rooms available...we trudged upstairs to the smoking room (after questioning "how could that be?") to discover a filthy hallway, no ventilation, a room with a stench that burned my eyes, windows screwed shut, minimal ventilation with an a/c unit that barely functioned. [...] So, I requested a screwdriver to open the windows and told them I would most likely be sick the next morning. Gosh! What happened? A room became available - and I was informed that NOW they couldn't use the room we'd been previously assigned. I guess because we walked in there... We received a non-smoking room, but the beds were uncomfortable (old, very soft) and the place just didn't seem clean. I would not go back - nicer hotels in the area, but when we booked, this was the only one with availability. Now I see why!

Perfect for Gameday!
Location is great when going to a game. Getting cabs was not a problem to and from the game. The hotel is a little old and feels a little dingy, but the people working there were super nice and extremely helpful. When looking for a place to crash after the game - its works great. It is a little pricey - but on a big game weekend so is everyone else.

location was not located 'near' Auburn University- uncomfortable and over rated. never stay thee again.

Disappointed Again!
Ok, mediocre breakfast; dirty hot tube; no elevator, had to carry luggage to 2nd floor. On scale of 1-5, maybe 2. I should have known better, second lousy stay at a Best Western, I'm done!
