Meh
The service and cleanliness are all up to par. What is lacking is a descent parking area and for them to get their internet in working order. The location isn't very good as far as appealing looks, but it's still very close to the town.

Everything was fine except for breakfast. At 6:30 am, biscuits and gravy were cold. Buns were warm but frozen on the inside. A little out of the way for Maxwell AFB. Staff was very professional and helpful at all times. Great cookies in the evening.

I thought this hotel was a little far from the airport. However, after driving around the area, it has a lot to offer- shopping, dining, Shakespeare outdoor park, etc.

This Montgomery Alabama Holiday Inn Express sucks. We reserved this motel for a special night on our trip to Florida. Paid extra for a jacuzzi. Jacuzzi so small only one person would have fit. Room smelled terribly of mold or mildew. We refused to stay in it. Were told that no other rooms were available. Labor weekend we had to drive another 3 hours. This is the second bad experience we have had with Holiday Inn Express. We will no longer look at Holiday Inn Express!

Staff was great
The Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites wasn't quite what we were expecting. It was difficult to see the road to the entrance in the dark. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The hallways had a smoking smell and the room air conditioner had a difficult time keeping the room at a constant temperature.

Good, but one issue
This was a fine basic hotel, new and clean. My only issue was that both days that I was there the housekeepers would still try to come in when the door was deadbolted and latched, and then never came back. I took this up with the manager, as I could see that some guests might have a real issue with this, and they took the concern in a very professional manner.

A REALLY good steak restaurant, Longhorn, close by. GREAT steak!!!
