Check-in incompetency
When I arrived to check-in, the lady said she didn't have a reservation for me. After going to the office and printing off the reservation, she said that the reason she said this was because I had used my middle name when asking instead of my first name. She could have just asked was it under another name possibly.

the worst hotel
The hall and the rooms smelled really bad. The furniture was very old/dated. The towels in the bathroom were worn out! Although, there was a coffeemaker and coffee in the kitchen, I did not see dishwashing liquid or any way of washing the cups. I really didn't think the cups were clean, so I did not have coffee. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS ALL THE HOTELS IN MONTGOMERY ARE BOOKED

Pleasantly surprised
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The staff even went out of their way to make parking room for my truck and boat by moving their personal vehicle. I have never seen that type of service before. I will stay with them again, and recommend them to others.

Bring lysol with you
The hotel was in a great location. However, the smell in the hallway to the rooms was like an old wet dog. There was no hairdryer. This hotel would be more suited to the construction worker who just wanted a place to sleep. I immediately left the room and went to the closest store and purchased lysol and sprayed everything down.

OKAY, but would would not stay again.
It was okay for a for a place to sleep for a night. The price was a real plus. The location was good with many well known restaurants close by. I did not like it well enough for a return stay.
