Football mini-camp
My purpose for traveling to Mobile was to attend an football mini-camp. The hotel was very convenient and my check on was very simple as I was exhausted from the travel. Breakfast was delicious, however I thought it was tacky for a couple of guest having breakfast at the same time we were to come to a public breakfast buffet in there pj's and no shoes on. The staff was very knowledgeable of the city which was very helpful to me. I enjoyed my stay overall.

Great place to stay while in Mobile
We were in Mobile visiting relatives. The hotel was close to their home and other activities we were involved in. The staff was friendly, the room wss clean and well appointed, morning breakfast was just what we needed to get the day started.

Short drive from hotel
The hotel was on a service drive off the highway and our GPS device could not locate it. We were told other guests have the same problem.

Mobile and the Spill
All in all this was usual comfortable Hampton Inn room, although smaller than some. A trashcan in the sink area would be nice. Also, there was so much Febreze on the pillows and comforter, it was difficult to sleep (seriously!). I think this must have been a smoking room they were making over into nonsmoking by trying to rid the room of smoke smells.

Relaxing
Mostly I found the staff to be very kind. There were several nice restuarants within a 1/2 mile of the Hotel. We were there just to relax for a few days. We went to Dauphin Island and the USS Alalbama & neither were too far away. Had a great stay would recommend it to anyone.
