The overall hotel was great. Great cost and staff. Once we checked in,the front desk called to make sure we was pleased with the room. I will stay here again!!!

perfect for the price
For the price and the location this was a great deal, I would stay here again being that it was right off the highway and it was located right between downtown and the main shopping strip.

Can't Complain either
This is an extended stay motel. So, they have a full kitchen, which is really nice. The room was in great shape. Location was right off the expressway, so easy access. Lots of places to eat right there. For the money, it doesn't get better than this, unless you're staying in a Vegas strip hotel between Sunday and Thursday. ;)

Church's Chicken is just 1/2 mile away. It tastes delicious, even though it can't be good for ya. ;)

Not so great
We were greeted graciously and warmly. But the kitchen floor was dirty, and the door took special pushing to lock. The worst part was when my husband got stuck in the elevator. The room phone wouldn't work, I couldn't get the door to lock, and I didn't know if my husband had been taken hostage when he had gone to the car to get his wallet. I was panicked when he didn't come back from the car when expected, and I couldn't find him. In panic, I left the room unlocked to go to the office. The attendant in the office was extremely upset because she learned that the maintenance company couldn't get there for 2 hours. She was about to call the fire department to release my husband, when he appeared - he and another man in the elevator had managed together to move the door so it would lock. Obviously we didn't use the elevator again! No ameneties, no wi-fi, a kitchen but only one large saucepan, so no way to cook our food.

Decent
We were in town for a friend's wedding and the hotel was easy to find. We had hoped to check in a little early to get ready for the wedding, but there were no clean rooms and the Front Desk clerk seemed annoyed that we even asked. The room was decent and clean enough... it was fine for what we were looking for - a place to sleep a for a few hours after the wedding and before our early flight home.

We were in Mobile to attend my wife's mother's funeral. Her home was located in Prichard, Alabama, near I 65. There was not enough room for all of the family to stay at her home so some of us had to rent lodging. I picked ESA. The location of the hotel was perfect. The service was wonderful.
