Pleasantly surprised
When we checked in they told us about the free breakfast bar and I assumed it was the same as all the other hotels that served breakfast.....what a surprise to learn that they also had a wonderful supper bar also and complimentary cocktails. The food was wonderful and the staff was accommodating and pleasant. Everyone who worked there had a smile on their face......Great job, Drury Inn Mobile.....we'll be back for sure!!!

This was the second time we stayed at the Drury Hotel. Everything was perfect. We chose this hotel because of the first trip to Mobile, Al. The breakfast was really good. This was a second business trip to Mobile. - Short trip but very productive.

Try and print your boarding pass, and pay for your luggage. The Drury has computers to do this. Saves time at the airport.

Nice surprise
I had some pleasant surprises while staying at the hotel this week. It was quieter than I would have guessed considering it was located near the freeway. As a single woman traveling alone, I felt safe with the interior hallways and secure entryways to the hotel. I was also surprised with the additional free snacks available with the free popcorn and soft drinks. The baked potatoes, hot dogs and chicken tenders actually were good enough to fill me up for dinner one night. And the breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Thanks Drury Inn for the pleasant stay.

Hotel was not up to quality expected of a drury inn or price of hotel. Furniture was dirty and bedding was also dirty looking. Did not feel safe in hotel surroundings. 1st room smelled of smoke and was supposed to be non-smoking. Overall cleanliness was disappointing.

Drury Inn December 5, 2009
The hotel was older than what we expected from the online pictures. The elevator had a funky smell--maybe in the carpet--or electrical wiring under the elevator--not sure. The room was very small and the bathroom was tiny. In all fairness, the previous night we stayed at WindCreek Hotel and Casino in Atmore, AL, which is a very tough act to follow.

WALLS SO THIN COULD HEAR EVERYTHING IN NEXT ROOMS AND IN HALLWAY, ALSO HEATER IN CEILING TO NOISY !!!!

THIS HOTEL PUT TO MUCH MONEY INTO FRONT ENTRANCE SITTING AREA AND NOTHING INTO ROOMS , IF THIS IS THE WAY THIS HOTEL CHANGE BIULDS ITS HOTELS I WILL NOT BE STAYING IN ANOTHER ONE , WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO SLEEP .

Enjoyed Stay
From check in to check out, my stay was more than I expected. The social hour of appitizers and drinks were great and the hot breakfast was much more than I expected. Not just a continental breakfast like most places offer. They had eggs, sausage, and much more.

Great location, very clean
Hotel was in a great location, right off the exit. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the rooms were very clean. The beds were a little small but very comfortable. Resturants within walking distance of the hotel and shopping center less than a mile.

outstanding start of day breakfast
we had thought that we would be placed in close proximity to our adult children and spouses and granddaughter,since we called preamble to our visit. due to the forgetfullness of the hotel staff we were seperated in room assignment. this did not set well with us. we are from Michigan and our kids/spouses and granddaughter are from Texas.
