Welcome to the Baymont Inn and Suites in Mobile. We are ideally located off I-65 and few miles from I-10, with many attractions nearby. Gulf Shores beaches are 30 minutes away; and we are a home to many beautiful golf courses in minutes of driving distance. Many restaurants and shopping is at your convenience along with access to large mall within few minutes driving distance.

Dripping wet

The room was literally dripping with water. We were moved to another room that was better but by the morning all my papers were wet. There was moisture on the furniture. They need a dehumidifier.

Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

Very close to everything. Free wi-fi. You do have to take care of the humidity in those rooms. If I wasn't so tired and had not paid ahead, I would have moved to another hotel.

acceptable

The bath towels were very nice & soft. Normally, hotels have thin- cheap- rough bath towels, but not this hotel. Had a huge flat screen tv & was modern. Only thing that turned me off was the stains on the chair/bedspread and I didn't even wanna think about that. The location was close to food & the interstate. It was a great buy for the money, especially since I'm a single mom.

Spring break

The pictures on the web are very deceiving. The hotel is not nearly as nice nor as large as the pictures portray. After the first morning, we woke up to roaches in the microwave, in the suite. When I think of a suite, I think of a nicer room. [...] (at front desk) was very nice. She changed our rooms. It was better but the air did not work well in the suite that we moved to. The bathtubs are very stained and give an appearance of being dirty. [...] I pray that we do not take roaches back home. If I had questions, I waited to ask [...]. She was the only person who really tried to help. For instance, we asked about the exercise room. The lady at the desk told us where it was but did not tell us that we needed a key to get in. Another guest told us that we could not get in without a key. (I think that she was one of the owners). The beds were comfortable but I was way turned off after the roaches.

Traffic is heavy coming back from the mall. The lights are long.

Cheaper than others

Check in and check out was okay, Rooms were a room, clean yes, but not in good shape, I would not stay there again, The breakfast they had was at kids level only, nothing that an adult would consider a continental breakfast. But if you want a bed for the night, maybe that would be okay.

Simply BAD!

Motel is in very bad disrepair and is dirty - dirty - dirty! Big spots in the carpet, A/C fan sounded like the rattle of a bad diesel engine, ceiling and walls had been very poorly patched, 1 of the tv's was missing, no clock AND MANY MORE problems. Best advise I have is do NOT stay here.

Baymont Inn
